Get the 8700k if you want to overclock. As your spending that much on your pc, it wouldn't hurt to spend a tiny bit more and get a 8700k for the extra performance.

it sounds easier just to buy another 1080ti

so 1080ti still good with 1080p 144hz for constant smooth gameplay with high settings. I didn't want my friends to think im budget/stupid purchasing them 

Oh. So I won't be able to do any raytracing at all on 1080ti even if the performance isnt as good as 2080

Yeah that's what I was thinking. So I will get a 144hz 1080p monitor for gaming alongside a 60hz 1080p monitor for multitasking ect. Powered by a gtx 1080. Do you think that is good?

you can download asus sonic suite and control your sound using that (get it from your soundcards driver page)

Yeah I would too. It's just because my Router/Modem is called a 'Sky Hub' which is why I thought it might act like a hub, but I guess it is just their stupid/confusing naming scheme.

the coils probably moved a bit when you dropped your PC; hence the coil whine. No, your PC won't stop working it would've done that way before if it was going to. Try running heaven for a while and it might get rid of the whine.

Your wrong just overclocked memory to 2700mhz and got a 50+ fps performance increase
