  1. here is a first view of alternatives that you can choose from https://pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/?compatible_with=sxDzK8#sort=price&page=1 and here a website the reviews every 1070 Ti cards http://www.ign.com/articles/2017/11/07/the-best-geforce-gtx-1070-ti hope this helps
  2. for the gtx 1070 ti almost everything or everything is compatible if i remember but for the processor you need a correct type of mobo if you want to change
  3. the case go ham with it,i wouldn't say the same about the mobo because there are older ones that are not compatible, ryzen ones, and the ones that work
  4. if you want to save some money instead of getting a 1080 i would suggest you a 1070 Ti because it's really powerful for about 20-40€ more in EU for us and you get closer to a gtx 1080 than a 1070, about the case you can go almost everything you want if it's not small but the one he put seems good Edit: nope it looks way too small
  5. yep you didn't say this at all then go for it hell even go for a 1080 ok abused at the end but you know what i mean the choice is up to you
  6. didn't you say that you didn't want above 1500 without selling your pc? if no then why not
  7. yeah that's a great choice too i guess but hate the fact that it has such a good cpu compared to the gpu
  8. i did my little research on what you should get and made this build that should have a great balance between work and gaming with a price that isn't as painful as a premade pc while keeping a good upgradibility AMD Ryzen 1700 (300$) GTX GeForce 1070 (400$) Asus prime B350 plus (100$) DR4 HyperX Fury, 2 x 8 Go, 2133 MHz, CAS 14 (180$) EVGA 650 GQ, 650W (100$) Storage and case of choice which is about 1080$ that would help you doing heavy work, stream and game but some things can be changed like the gpu you can directly go for a 1080 if that's your butter
  9. considering that he is on budget must mean that the power comsumption has a great place in it too where the 1070 is above while having a reasonable price that miners haven't fully ruined
  10. with everything said i suggest you to wait and get money, wait for special moments like black friday, christmas to get some of that juicy profit
  11. sadly when you're on budget you must consider a lot of things like power consumption where the 1060 wins on all , power and future proof where the 1070 is no brainer and compability so it's really your situation and prices that will be giving the answer edit: about compability i was talking about the psu but seems like you got everything you need so forget about it
  12. all benchmarks that i saw have shown me that it's worse
  13. you will be saving after all so if you're lucky enough you might even get a good deal on a gtx 1080 which has gddr5x
  14. well vega is really bad right now, slower than a 1070 and has a worse power consumption . You can try to get the 1070 but like you said a 144hz screen for 200 might be hard to find
  15. well if you ONLY play that a gtx 1050ti-1060 should do the trick leaving you a wooping 450-350 bucks for the screen if you use your 600$ budget
