I would say that Apex is lagging way less than for instance Mordhau or Battlefield. But all of the games above has recived a huge decrease in fps count. My monitor: I updated my graphicscard in geforce experience about 4 hours ago and my windows is kind of fucked up because I bought a key and it worked in the start, but know it says that it is invalid, but that has been there far longer than this problem I am facing now so I have a hard time thinking that is the issue. Otherwise I have been updating some driverutines in attemt to solving this problem but it didn't help me... Thank you for your time!

Hi! My pc has been underpreforming lately and I don't know what the problem is. I feel like I've tried everything. Basicly when I'm playing games, my CPU is preforming at 100% in the taskmanager and it is noticeable ingame too. Before I got this lag I used to have around 130 fps when playing Mordhau. Now I can barely hit 80 fps (Mordhau isn't the only game with fps drop). I've done everything in this article https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/easy-to-fix-computer-lagging-issues-step-by-step/ and reset my BIOS setting but the problem is still there. Any advice about how to get rid of this lag would be greatly appresiated! Thank you very much!

I'm pretty confident that heat isn't the probllem because the problem is still there right when I launch the game. In that case it would have to overheat instantaneously... is that possible?

Is it normal to have 100% cpu usage? Because it usually goes pretty high up. Even for a game like batllefeild 4 which is pretty old, my pc still struggels to keep a smooth and enjoyable experience. If this isn't the problem I do not know what is. I've really tried to find the problem and I've searched everywhere. But Thank you anyways!

Hi! I've had a problem with my CPU for quite some time now but I finally decided to figure out what was wrong. When I first relaised something was wrong was when I logged in to BF4. I usually get somewhere between 190-240 fps ingame but this time I could barely hit 80 fps. When I opened taskmanager I saw that CPU usage was somewhere between 90-100%. I have an intel i5-8600k so It should not have to be uppgraded in my oppinion. I'm asking you if you have anything I could do in order to solve this problem? I would be grateful for all the help I could get!

Thank you for your response! I'm thinking it might be some kind of hardware problem unfortunately, as you told me. After a long time of research I've found next to nothing on how to acctually check which one of your hardware is non-functioning. Do you have any tips?

I've build my own pc whitch contains the following hardware: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/PlzGivMonej/saved/Q4QxYJ It's been working fine for like 7,5 months but has recently starting acting weirdly. It's hard to explain but I'll try. For example while playing league of legends I get a very nice fps but it's not smooth. It like quickly freezes in frame and then it jumps back to normal. This happens like once every 3 seconds and it's really ruinning the experience. This is rather special for league but if I play BF1 it just isn't as smooth as it used to be. It keeps freeze framing shortly and it feels like my gpu has gotten weaker. It also feels like I'm playing on a 30hz monitor when I have a 144hz monitor. Like I said the computer has worked very well but has just now stated to preform worse. I'm very sure that is't not overheating. It overall feels like my pc just downgraded. I've done mcafee's virucheck which says that I don't have any viruses. I've also carefully cleaned my computer from dust, ran a Ccleaner, reinstalled my nvidia dribers with DDU and I really don't know what to do =( I would be greatful if you gave me some advice!

Thank you for replying! I tried this but I couldn't get DDU to safemode. Everytime I started DDU it would take me direcly to the menu and not the launcher =(. I've watched others but they doesn't have the same problem. Do you know the solution? I would be greatful!
