  1. Unless it’s the only job that’s available at that time... It sucks, but bills don’t pay themselves...
  2. Updated for 2017: I am a master at touching things on a screen
  3. We never did decorate much until this year... Got a Christmas tree with red and white-ish golden lights, and some other small decorations. It’s right in front of the window so anyone can enjoy our cool tree (It’s also my profile pic, because why not?) Plus, we put up some white and multicolored lights outside, which are on 24/7 That’s about it for now, though. We’ve got a whole bunch of animals so we can’t really afford having a lot of stuff out
  4. Most games with actual story and a world to get immersed in... The Witcher, the Fallout series, the Metro series, Bioshock 1 & 2, etc... Being an adult means I get to spend 9 hours working, coming home, taking care of said home, and then maybe getting to sit down and play some games every other day. So I have a really hard time actually getting into games, and I usually play shorter pick-up-and-play indies. Shooting Stars, Rogue Legacy, The Binding of Isaac, Risk of Rain, and Downwell are pretty much the only games I ever play anymore. Although I'm planning on getting into Terraria on my handful of days off for the holidays #salehype TL;DR don't have enough time to get immersed in games, so I finish nothing
  5. I recently really got into Code: Pandorum. Angsty vibe aside, it really satisfies that ~angry loud noises~ itch I get quite frequently. I also really like Venetian Snares I used to like Skrillex, but kind of grew out of him, I suppose. His Recess album was pretty good though, and I'll occasionally get Stranger, F#%$ That, and Try It Out stuck in my head... And I also like Deadmau5 and Marshmello every once in a while, but their music tends to get really repetitive really fast, to me. Also, does Merzbow count as Electronic? If so, add him to my list
  6. Already got my materialistic stuff, and while there's stuff I sure want, I probably won't be buying anything (other than Steam games ayyy) for a long, long time... So essentially I'm not asking for anything under the tree because I already got everything. Although I'm asking not to be fired because a lot of people have been getting laid off where I work, and the last thing I need before Christmas is unemployment Oh and I guess good health is important too. Not dying would be pretty awesome.
  7. Got an iPhone SE for $99 with a month of service, on Black Friday. Honestly, can't beat that price unless you're really anti-Apple I had a 5S a while ago, and I loved that thing. But alas, water damage killed it... I had a 5.5" Android (Huawei Sensa) for a while too, but anything above 5" is just way too big for my little hands Oh, and I picked up one of those hip&cool slide-out keyboards too. Got 0 complaints about my setup, and cost less than $120 for everything!
  8. One of these bad boys I can't seem to use a touchscreen properly when it's cold, so I went back to 2006 and got me a slide-out keyboard. I'm happy with it, but people around me aren't
  9. That night theme is pretty swanky :o

  10. Listening to music isn't an issue as long as there's no vocals, afaik. What worked for me (then again I barely got by so take my advice with a grain of salt) was just studying until I was done with a chapter/part, taking a little break, and then moving on. Repetition was key to me, but just do whatever works for you. Just make sure you're actually studying/learning though, and not just sitting somewhere with some papers Also, the basics, like don't have any distractions, make sure you're not tired, stay hydrated and fed, be comfortable but not too comfy, etc...
  11. Downloaded the whole album on Apple Music, it's about the only thing I listen to anymore...
  12. I wish sleep wasn't vital to living. Either you waste 1/3rd of your life just kind of laying there, or you spend the remaining 16+ hours miserable. Also, the holidays are about to start which I'm pretty hyped for as well
  13. Howdy I've been watching LTT for a couple years on and off now, and I've been pretty big into PCs for a couple years now. So, my name is Riley, and I ended up moving (almost) 2 year ago, but it wasn't until now that I actually felt the need to start socializing more Most of my friends aren't (as big) into computer stuff, and the few that are, aren't usually available to talk to. I really like to chat about things like that, so I figured I'd join the most straightforward forum! So here I am, ready to overshare everything and completely waste my time
