Get the Corsair fans. They look nicer IMO... Probably better at pushing air than those ones too.

The chair kinda forces you to be more upright when you have the cushions fitted. I'm a really bad sloucher, but i find this nice and comfortable nether-the-less. I'm pretty sure my back/neck has been better since i have had it. Very highly recommended to anyone at this point. No faults or failures so far.

Any updates? Im not being very patient, bit this is going to be sweet and i wanna know how it ends up!

I got it for just under £200. Other chairs like this i found were more expensive. (As most had to be shipped from the US)

Hello All! I have seen barely any un-boxings or reviews of this chair so i thought id do my best for you guys! Nice sized basic box. No design on the box, just a basic logo on the sides. ================================================== No real thrills in the box. No real sheeting on the top as pictured. No real complaints here. Would be nice to see a sheet of polystyrene or something for even i tiny bit of protection. But ah well. ================================================== Small box can be seen in the box there, lets open that up first. ================================================== Some plastic fittings which i forgot to picture for you guys! (Sorry!) Mainly the central piston protector, and covers for the brackets on the sides of the chair. There is also the main actuator lever on this box, along with the actual piston itself. Also included rather strangely is a pair of what feels like cotton gloves! That is something i really didn't expect. There is also the expected allan keys, and a pair of long bolts. (These make another appearance later on as you would expect) Instructions are also found in this box in a rather unconventional format. (Still decent enough to be able to follow easily.) ================================================== The neck and back support chairs can be found in the box beside the chair. ================================================== The main seat is lifted out of the box in pretty much one piece. The only thing to attach being the base and the backrest. ================================================== There is a thin sheet of dense polystyrene between the base of the chair and the backrest. (I would have liked to see another in the top of the box as mentioned above. ================================================== Backrest comes in a nice bag to protect it further from the parts on the bottom of the seat which is on top of it during storage. ================================================== Final thing in the box is the five footed stand. Pretty standard [aluminium?] stand. Basic no thrills plastic wheels included in the small box opened previously. ================================================== Moving on, i decided to attach the backrest to the seat itself, so first things first we need to remove the screws that are pre-installed into the sides of the backrest. I was a little disappointed at the quality of the cutout around the screw holes (Pictured below), but these parts are covered entirely by the brackets and their respective covers. Nothing really to it when attaching these two, sections as it is really simple to do so. ================================================== Once the two parts are assembled by the 4 screws that are again pre-installed into the chair. The next thing to do is to simply attach the covers for these unsightly brackets. I had some real issues getting one of the screws in. It seemed to be too thick, but after a bit of force, it was clear that it was just paint in the threads. Not the end of the world. **NOTE! When installing these two covers, the screw will not stop as there is nothing for it to contact in the chair itself. So it will just keep going in until it breaks the plastic! You merely need to tighten until it comes in contact with the plastic, and then one rotation more.** ================================================== Four pre-installed screws and some plastic covers later (Installed with the two black screws that came in the small box), and the main chair is pretty much assembled. ================================================== Attaching the base is simple enough also, the four screws needed are pre-installed into the base of the chair. Allowing for quick installation, as you do not need to hunt for them. These went in very easily and tightened nicely to the base. ***NOTE -- Turns out im a imbesile, as i managed to put this on backwards. There is a arrow etched into the metal of the base. Make sure that this points to the front of the char, or you will be falling forwards when you try and lean back! *** ================================================== That's it! At this point the chair is complete! The cushions can be attached to the headrest and the lower back nice and easily. The top cushion merely attaches over the top of the headrest by stretching the elastic over the top. The elastic will stretch quite far, so no need to worry about it snapping when you put it over the headrest. Fits nice and tight and isn't really moving with general use. ================================================== The chair lies back practically FLAT. This chair is also nice and stable, even at these angles! I was able to lay back and relax, and had plenty of confidence in the chair not to throw me off the back. ================================================== Arms are adjustable both vertically and horizontally. Vertical adjustments can be made by pressing in the buttons found on the side of the armrests. Below is minimum and maximum heights for the arms. (Min then Max) ================================================== Close up of the headrest. Front and back, to demonstrate how it is mounted to the chair. Same for the backrest. Backrest will mount going through the holes on the headrest area, and through between the backrest and the chair, by just pushing the clip though. ================================================== I will post a review of the chair once i have had some game time in it. If it is worth anything, while writing this, the chair is very comfortable, and is not very itchy on bare legs. (I'm in my Dressing Gown, So what!?) I have the Bekant desk (Comes out in the UK Earlier than the US i presume?) and it is a good desk. I have it in Birch wood and i love it. There is plenty of space and it is nicely adjustable. Not nearly as good as the Galant, but still a respectable option. You may want to double check to see if you cant get the Bekant already. As it is uncommon for the UK to get stuff before the US.

Anyone know how to setup a 3d model as a screensaver? I been playing Grid Auto-sport, and i sometimes leave it running to work as a background. (see attached) I would like separate models on each screen if possible? (May be pushing it) Thanks!

Hello! I am looking to purchase a Racing wheel, to use for Racing simulation games, (Like assetto corsa, Grid, etc) but i dont want to spend a fortune on a wheel that i may use once a week or so. I am looking to spend anything up to £100 for a Wheel/Pedal combo. Cheers! Rob

Right. From looking at the Pros and cons. Im 85% decided on the ATH 700X. Cheers for they help guys!

Thinking of how the front panel audio cable goes, it is goign across the whole PC, so is bound to pick up interference. Best bet would be to plug in at the back, so that you get as little interference as possible.

By this i would go for the ATH. A buddy had to throw another pair into the mix. Sennheiser 595. Any better than the 700x? Or same sorta level as the 558?
