    Yes, EVERYTHING worked.
The only drivers that did not install were the shitty dell maxxx audio crap which I did not want in the first place.
A clean install gets rid of all the bloatware and only installs the base and necessary drivers, which is exactly why clean installing is so good.
And no, uninstalling bloatware like maxxx audio is NOT the same as clean installing and not having it installed from the beginning.

Basically the most noticeable difference is the price. The 6800K is going to be faster because it's newer and clocked a bit higher, but for all intents and purposes it will be a stone's throw away as far as the performance you will get from the one verses the other.

gilm0re3 got a reaction from LogicalDrm in Can mods cause software or hardware issues????
Something light like custom vehicles shouldn't crash a game. Stuff starts getting hectic when you start creating a lot of objects that the physics engine has to render, such as hundreds of explosions happening at once or lots of collisions from an abundance in spawned in entities. Other mods like texture packs can put more strain on the graphics card if they are a much higher res pack than the original one. Do a bit of research before you install mods to see if other people are complaining about system instability and you should be fine. I just the other day installed the Menyoo mod for GTA V and my laptop with a lowly 860M was handling it just fine and I noticed no performance hit until I started using the tool to spawning in lots of cars and flying objects and creating lots of explosions. But even then, it wasn't much of a hit.

As for hardware issues, really unless the mod has malicious code attached to it you shouldn't do any physical harm to anything,

Or as some people say, "It's just like building with really expensive Legos." Realistically, it's not really all that hard, especially if you have a handy video guide to help you along, and for the most part the components are made so you can't plug them in the wrong way (except the CPU).

Linus has a plethora of build guides you can follow here if you so choose:

Yeah, recording quality matters a bunch. Bostons earlier albums just don't sound that great due to not so great recording quality.
Its a flac, but that doesn't matter.
All my music is flac's because it was ripped from the cd's, but there are still differences in quality.

Sure. I more meant get music that you like or want to try, plus get good masters. mp3 256kbps+ is good enough if the master is good.

Are you sure you need a 5820k, the only reason you would get one is if you were doing some thing that requires a good cpu, like video streaming or rendering. i would go with an i5 if you are just gonna be gaming.

Ideally, you'll want a DAC + amp combo, but the impedance of the ATH-M40Xs is low enough that you don't need anything particularly high-end to drive them well enough. I'm actually using the dedicated amp on my motherboard right now until I can afford a decent Schiit Stack. Since you're using a laptop, the most I woulds recommend you buy is a FiiO E10k USB DAC + Amplifier. They're not cheap, but it is a very good, small and portable solution. For what it's worth, though, the onboard sound on your laptop is okay for now. Don't expect a night-and-day difference, but do expect more clarity, and a bit more "distance" between details in sounds. Plus they'll be louder, typically.

Depends on the degree of the headphones. If you pair a laptop with a pair of Sennheiser HD800s, the laptop will hold them back so much, that there would be no point, and upgrading the audio source would be mandatory. However, because your headphones are low-power, and they're not premium, high-end cans, they offer more of an improvement than your input setup. So yes, in this case the headphones outweigh the other end of the audio setup. However, a DAC + Amplifier will still go a long way.

The one mouse that I believe meets your criteria would have to be the Logitech MX Master.
Wireless, a decent amount of buttons, and has a free scroll mode. It's expensive, but it's a very good mouse, especially for productivity.

You can install a OS using various tools on an external drive, but booting a OS that was installed to an internal drive which was later plugged as an external drive is hardly possible. Windows 8 and later versions have the Windows to Go feature which allow you to install them on portable drives. I'd contact MS's support for more info!   Captain_WD.

If you bought all of the same color and texture for both the top/bottom and the back, I believe they would send you one that is the back with separated top and bottom pieces that don't wrap around the top and bottom edges, and then one that covers the entire back and is all one piece.

The earcup swivels about 15 degrees total from forward to backwards on the M30X while the M40x can go 90 degrees in one direction and a little more in the other direction.
Both headphone uses the same "meh" earpads however due to the M30x's limited swiveling movement, I notice some pressure around my ears and jaw region and this gets uncomfortable the longer you wear them.

Removable cable is nice since you can buy the M50x's shorter cable one later on.
I had to resort to this.

Would you be open to getting a seperate mic and headphones? Cuz that's what I would do. Getting a 50-75ish dollar mic and a 125-150ish dollar will get you a much higher quality overall for your money.

It really actually doesn't surprise me that they aren't selling the 6S very well. I would imagine that the people just aren't able to understand between the 6 and 6S, so they don't see a reason to get it. especially because design wise they are identical save for the S variants being slightly thicker and heavier. I especially see that being the case because Apple has been running all these commercials lately that are literally explaining everything that they changed, because no one actually knows what the difference is. And I think the difference between the 4 to the 4S and the 5 to the 5S compared to the 6 to the 6S is that people were excited for Siri on the 4S and excited for the fingerprint sensor on the 5S, but everything that Apple updated with the 6S is way more technical and harder to really see an appreciable difference in, such as processor speed, app load times and 4k video. It's just really hard to convey that in a meaningful way in a commercial or even a one on one with an Apple employee in one of their stores that normal people will understand. Basically, Apple changed a ton of stuff under the hood that normal people just don't care about, so no one sees a reason to upgrade from an already respectably performing 6 to a 6S.
