After weeks of stressing and fixing and reinstalling and uninstalling windows, my PC build has been fully changed from my first ever computer (excluding HDD but that's just for archive files).
Starting of with an i5-3470, gtx 1050 and 8gb of ram, it had lasted a while but only ran games on low settings on low FPS and an upgrade was long overdue, now upgraded with an i5-7600k and rx 5700 new case, motherboard, psu, ram, etc. i am finally liberated from low fps. Big thanks to the people on here for the help with choosing parts and installing new components 🙂
 i know there is a mess of wires behind, im waiting to get other devices so that i can cable manage everything 🙂
 
although its not the prettiest, i still really like the low profile design and high speeds compared to my old system, 🙂

If you're expecting some life fulfilling experience as an intern... I have bad news for ya. 😛 
 
I'd say go for those help desk jobs, and take all the busy work they throw at you with smile on your face. If it ends up being more than busy work, awesome, you gained some good experience + a credit.

While I'm not a pro, I did just get my internship done last Summer by asking a local school if I could intern with their IT department. The one thing you should ask before taking an internship is what they plan to have you do, which was my mistake when I did mine. I ended up getting just gopher tasks, and learned nothing, resulting in the internship just being credits for me. No matter where you get your internship, just make sure they aren't using you for the busywork.

I know everyone hates Ubuntu because it's considered a beginner distro or whatever. But honestly Ubuntu is great, the GUI is clean there's a large user base that will be able to help you find an answer to fix your problem! I use it on my laptop for school all the time.

If you haven't been able to find a guide that fits you anywhere else, you're unlikely to find a solution here.
And even if you do find a good guide, it doesn't necessarily mean the character will work for you.
 
I've been playing a crapload of Turbo lately to do the Battle Pass Cavern Crawl and oh boy Marci wasn't fun.
I actually like her kit and think she's an interesting and potentially scary as hell enemy, but I just couldn't get her to "click" for me.
I ended up getting carried on a match and then just used one of those axes on her.
Not all characters work for all players. Maybe Marci just doesn't work for you, just like she doesn't work for me.

You're cracked. The products couldn't be more dissimilar. You need to look no further than the fact that Linus literally ripped the bottom off the Surface Laptop Studio trying to open it. The Surface Laptop Studio is literally designed as a single unit and it is what it is. The Framework is a entirely modular laptop that could be configured any number of ways. That's both its strength and its weakness. While it's near infinitely upgradeable and modifiable, it's not good at any one thing. Even if a touchscreen becomes available, it won't be one that can morph from laptop to easel to tablet, for example.

always comes up when anyone talks about someone with large amounts of liquid assets. i may be remembering wrong, but i'm pretty sure they spoke about it on the WAN show. no matter who they donate to, they will be badgered with "why didn't you donate to x" or "you should also donate to y or you're a terrible person for reason z"
 
And i don't blame them, the amount of "You donated to x? Well what about <obscure controversy> that <charity> had 15 years ago, how can you support them?" i see all over twitter, would also make me not want to make any large donation public

Pretty sure Luke is fine, yes he's nice. Nice to a degree that i don't think he would accept something like this at all. what about <other member of team>? you do not want to breed favoritism/resentment/jealousy within your workplace when you are giving an employee something as big as a HOUSE.

the 8265u isn't that bad of a CPU.  In fact it is faster then most of the i7's from the kaby lake-r lineup.  If your computer is not a HP or Lenovo you should look into eGPU's for gaming because your cpu is very decent.  Although I would recommend undervolting using throttlestop which will give you 10-20% more CPU performance.  I used a system with a 8250u and a UHD 620 which linux for YEARS and it was amazing(after undervolting and optimizations within linux ofc) I only recently upgraded when I snagged an i9 10900 for $200

Ok so the problem was fixed, even though this may never see the light of day I do want to provide a fix in case someone on the internet has to fix this later on.
So the fix was as simple as switching to openjdk8, in order to do that you should enter the command sudo update-alternatives --config java just like so into your terminal of choice in linux and selecting 8.0.

Another possible fix was renaming it, although I never seemed to get it right and I'm not sure that was an actual fix.

Yeh it's more about the spikes than the general usage even under load at 550W I wouldn't be surprised to see BSOD's or restarts due to spikes tripping the PSU.

The one on the board is unused because your processor doesnt have integrated graphics. Get a display converter from Displayport to HDMI.

Definitely go for the RAM now, the GPU would be an awesome upgrade but frankly you're just not going to be able to find anything at the current moment.

450-550W. That should be plenty. 

It's much better to be safe than sorry - I'd say go for at least 600w. But perhaps more importantly, go for a quality one.

also try a bios reset and check the cpu temp , might as well just reseat everything while you're in there

While I was living in Korea, I discovered the best keyboard ever, sure I don't understand the characters on it. Sure it's a bit noisy, but it is absolutely perfect and I love every bit of it.
This is the LG INFINITE Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. (also I have no clue what kind of keys it uses).

Ok, the build, is finished (finally) and I'm super happy. Thanks for all the help guys and for setting me out on the right path to success. There were a few rookie mistakes in installation and wire management is a bit of a bitch but I plan on buying some more RGB strips and cleaning up the mess a bit.!

Ok I looked at this build and I REALLY LIKE IT. I wish everything was on Amazon, but that's a stupid reason not to buy a certain part, I like it!
