Your ISP gives you a cable that plugs into your router. Take that cable and directly plug your PC to the internet.

Try connecting directly into your internet cable. This way you know if it's a config issue on the router or with the ISP. If it works when you connect directly to the internet cable then you know it's a problem with the router. Reset your router and you should be fine. If it doesn't then you're gonna have to call your ISP because you already know that your PC is fine.

Yup. Display settings and Nvidia both at 144 Hz. Minecraft MC reportedly running at 200 FPS but the Kubuntu overlay still saying its capped at 100. Just a question, does your Kubuntu OSD go above 100?

Oh shit. I think your CPU's fucked. Try updating the BIOS? Try installing linux and see if it works. Then you know if the problem is with just windows.

Do this: Add the drive to a working PC or Laptop Open diskmgmt.msc with Admin perms Right Click the drive that's being stupid and delete every partition. Don't format the partition. Plug it back into your PC Just to be safe, recreate the installer on another USB Try again BOOM it should work

Using the FPS overlay in Kubuntu (Under "Desktop Effects" find "Show FPS") I can see that my FPS is being capped at 100 FPS (OSD top right) Check the attached screenshot, I have it configured to run at 144 Hz. I have the latest drivers. SPECS: B450 Auros M (BIOS Revision F4) Ryzen 5 2600X (stock) 2x8 GB Corsair Vengeance @ 3000 MHz C15 (stock) GTX 750 Ti 80+ Gold 650 Watt something corsair I think but it doesn't matter Sceptre 144 Hz 1920x1080 1ms 960 GB ADATA SSD (got it suuuper cheap on sale for 70 bucks :DD) Using HDMI not Displayport I know 750 ti won't be getting 144 FPS in any game except Minecraft but it should at least push that when I'm on desktop. Also another thing to note, I have two partitions on the drive, one for Windows and the other for Kubuntu.
