Hello, everyone!
I'm searching for the cheapest graphics card that can handle a 4K 60Hz monitor.
My usual tasks for this rig will be web, coding, CPU-computing and a bit of watching youtube, so 4K (or any other) gaming is a non-factor.
By now, I stopped at NVIDIA GTX 900 series low-end part, but I'm not sure if it will be able to handle 4K or if it is an optimal choice regarding performance/$ in these particular circumstances.
Also, I'd rather prefer an AMD card because I'm running Linux and AMD has a WAY better support, but I don't know a lot about AMD graphics to make a good choice
The other components, just in case:
- AMD Ryzen 7 1700
- 16 GB dual-channel DDR4
- MSI X370 Gaming Plus
Thanks!
