Oh, shit! I've set my Pfsense-router to use DNS-over-TLS, which means it applies to everything and not just Firefox, ergo I must be akin to a mass-murderer!

So it's down to the old "If you have nothing to hide..." saying huh?
It's always something those in power or those who want to maintain control that bring it up to try and dig into other people's lives but if the tables were ever turned on them it would be the worst thing in the world and blah blah blah. Perhaps those in charge of the ISPs should give up encryption first and all their privacy?

Is there even a single ISP that isn't basically Hitler? What's about these companies that makes them so strong? What happened to open market?

Look into the samsung evo select cards. I had one in my 3B+ and it was actually really fast and responsive, and since they've upgraded the SD controller, it should be even quicker. Samsung claims 100MB/S read and 90MB/s write, and I can confirm those speeds are obtainable.

Looks like a really good update. Here are some benchmarks.
    Some highlights:
The new CPU is much more powerful. In Linpack the new Pi is 3-4 times as fast as the 3B+. The move from LPDDR2 to LPDDR4 has increased the memory throughput from about 2500MBps, to around 4200MBps. The GPU has been upgraded from a VideoCore IV to a VideoCore VI. In Quake 3 Arena, the performance has increased from 27.5 FPS to 41 FPS. That's around a 50% increase. Ethernet performance has also been given a massive performance boost. From around 240Mbps on the Pi 3B+, to around 900Mbps on the Pi 4. The WiFi on 5GHz (not 2.4GHz) has been slightly improved. In his tests, it went from 97.6Mbps (Pi 3B+) to 114Mbps (Pi 4). USB throughput has received a MASSIVE performance boost. The throughput when connecting a USB SSD went from around 20Mbps (Pi 3B+, and basically any other Pi) to over 300Mbps (Pi 4). That's over 15 times as fast. The microSD slot has been upgraded. The read speeds seem to have doubled, and the write speeds are around 50% faster.   Also worth noting:
The new board is significantly bigger than the other models, which means a lot of cases will be incompatible. It is 4 grams lighter than the RPi 3 B+ (46g vs 50g) The SoC is now 28nm instead of 40nm like the old one. The RPi 4 runs much hotter than the previous models. It might be a good idea to get a heatsink or maybe even a case with a fan if you plan on putting it under constant heavy load. The power consumption is up too compared to the RPi 3 B+. Both idle consumption (around 0.1w more) and load consumption (around 1w more). The current software does not support booting from Ethernet or USB, but that is being worked on. This is important because right now the USB and Ethernet are both significantly faster than the microSD slot.
According to the blog post, yes. The PoE hat is still compatible with the RPi 4:

This isn't really news since they just announced they will start researching it, I could say I plan on researching 1nm node, haha first.
They expect to have a 2nm facility opened by 2024 and it will be in Hsinchu, Taiwan.

    My Thoughts:
"Alternative data" seems to be a slippery slope that will need to be regulated soon before it causes issues. The system can quickly become very China-esque in how it operates and what data it uses. Additionally, correlation not being causation needs to be considered.

DrDerp reacted to Delicieuxz in Quake 2 to get official ray-tracing update - Nvidia releases demo of excessively-bright RT Quake 2
On June 6, Quake II on Steam will receive an update that gives it support for ray-tracing. If you already own Quake II on Steam, you'll get the update for free. I hope and expect that the update will also improve Quake II's stability on modern OSes and hardware.

    So, what I think is...

Quake 2 being updated with support for ray-tracing: Awesome
Losing the original colour and atmosphere: Bad

The red lighting replaced with normal Earth-like yellow lighting, I don't get. That's taking away something that  defines Quake 2's atmosphere and demonstrates the game takes place on another planet.

There was a different video of ray-tracing in Quake 2 released, by someone else, in January. That video kept the original game's light colouring.

I'm not sure if the RT update to Steam Quake 2 is a product of this other Q2 RT project. Maybe it's the same one, just worked on further and released in partnership with Bethesda and Nvidia.

As much as Mediatek isn't the best. XDA devs really don't seem to give a crap about the chips as nothing flagship uses them. I'd hope this gives them a bit of a kick in the rear and helps bring LineageOS and other ROMs to a larger number of devices?
