  1. Hello there! So I got bored and was playing Prey for the like 15th time. I then thought about a REALLY dumb idea to make the Psychoscope IRL, using a screen from this ASUS AIO Now, where in the hell can I find just the screen, how in the hell do I program it using a Raspberry Pi or something, and why in the hell do I have such dumbass ideas for cosplays lmao
  2. Hi there! I am currently in a bit of a pickle as I am trying to prep selling my 5700XT but I cannot remount the included fan on top. I took it off as I used 2 noctua fans to cool it while it was in my PC, as the base fans were way too loud for me. Any advice? It also seems like one of the parts will not slide into where it needs to go which is fun too.
  3. Hi there! I need to force Dead Space to go into Vsync because of its inherent issues with the frame rate being tied to physics, along with screen tearing being pretty bad. AMD's Drivers DO NOT support DirectX games when it comes to forcing Vsync, making it a PAIN to enable on this game. Any advice?
  4. Hello! I replaced my RX 5700 XT’s fans today with two Noctua A12x25’s. Currently they’re routed into my motherboard, but I’d like for my fans to ramp up with my GPU so they aren’t always blasting. Any advice for this?
  5. I've got no idea, its a ASUS B450I board. https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-B450-I-GAMING/
  6. Hello! I'm in kind of a pickle, since I ordered 3 NF-A12x25 fans, however they're the 5V DC variant, meaning no fancy PWM functionality. I want to be able to control the speed of these fans but I have 0 clue of what Fan Controllers would be good to get, especially since I am now in a tiny ITX Case (NCASE M1). Any recommendations for Fan Hubs or the like? Thanks!
  7. Holy crap, this is pretty much exactly what I needed! Thanks so much!
  8. Hey hey! Possibly deciding to get a new Phone soonish since my current phone (iPhone 8 ) is losing steam, but don’t know what’s currently on the market. I’m open to either Android or iOS, and have a roughly 500 USD budget. Specific features I’d like are: High Quality WiFi Chip for Steam in Home Streaming. 8+ hours of Battery Life A decent camera, doesn’t need to be Pixel level but something nice. A lack of Bloatware. Please god a headphone jack (kinda a stretch nowadays) and the biggest stretch of them all, Removable Battery. This one ain’t needed due to how few of these there are. edit: USB Type-C would be nice too. Thanks for any and all help!
  9. Crap I’m a little late, if it has at least a PCIE X8 slot you should be fine. What model do you have?
  10. As someone who uses one currently, the RX 570 is amazing to pair with it. However the CPU does bottleneck it in some games like Destiny 2, Tarkov (not huge but noticeable), and most other FPS games.
  11. You’d be surprised what can these days, by the time AMD gets it down it will still have to compete with Phones regardless for ease of use but also snappiness and feel.
  12. For pure CPU stress tests Prime95 is an excellent free option.
  13. Banned for not screaming Row Row Fight the Power instead of overthrowing government.
  14. International shipping isn’t cheap at all, so it’s not an easy choice.
  15. Banned for making sense.
  16. What he said is true, also make sure you always wash your hands, keep clean and all that good stuff. Honestly keeping good Hygiene will go a long way in preventing sicknesses in general.
  17. As a current RX 570 user, I’ve had some minor issues. Though my GPU is kinda dying rn (causing Black Screens on Resolution changes, artifacting, and general instability) after only a year of getting it RMA’d.
  18. I’d say a 1650 Super if it’s the same price as a 580. They perform roughly the same but the 1650 Super is significantly newer and will receive more updates, consumes less power and will have less fiddly drivers.
  19. TL;DR 5700XT or GTX 2060, and any reasons why to get them. Heyo! I’ve been trying to decide which GPU I will use for my next system, but cannot decide whether I want a RTX 2060 or a RX 5700. I know the 5700 has objectively better performance on average but the drivers worry me, I currently use an AMD GPU and I’ve had many issues with their drivers and such. I’m not exactly brand loyal to either company, so I’ll take whatever is better. The 2060 is also cheaper on average making better models easier to find, as I’d rather not have a toaster. While there is a 5700 model for 320, it’s not exactly the best model. Basically, which GPU should I get in the future?
  20. Lower End nVidia stuff just isn't competing too well as of late. Hope they do make a competitor soon. I have a RX 570 however and I have zero regrets in getting it, it has fabulous performance.
  21. If you wanna go new, the RX 580 8 Gig Model is king. If you wanna go used, the 1070 is a good bet if you're willing to wait a bit for getting the right price.
  22. Hello there! I was working on getting windows on a family member's laptop, but it failed at the end of the whole thing. The USB Drive I was using was a 128 Gig SanDisk I got from Best Buy, so I know its not fake. After formatting it to try again on another device, it will only let me store 32 gigs now. I don't know why, I also tried formatting it on another System. Any help to get it back?
  23. Personally I love the new switch look. If I didn’t already have a regular switch I would buy it in an instant, fantastic value. My only issue is the controller design, the Right Analogue Stick should be above the buttons for comfort while playing portably.
