  1. Yeah to specify since I worded this pretty poorly right now currently I am using these parts FX-8320 CPU: http://goo.gl/NRYIsJ MSI 760GMA-P34: http://goo.gl/K6UtCX Crucial Ballistix 8GB (4x2): http://goo.gl/hQ5acw Hitachi 1TB Hard Drive: http://goo.gl/0EKIFh Cougar Spike PC Case: http://goo.gl/5FWoBc EVGA 500W Bronze PSU: http://goo.gl/mQVJ5p Asus NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Turbo: https://www.ebay.com/i/332169478061?chn=ps Since the build wasnt really for that type of card and I am not really able to use my card to its full potential I was thinking about doing a whole build just around the graphics card to make things work better with it. Thanks thats quite helpful, I dont know much about PC parts as a whole what is considered good bad etc, nor do I CURRENTLY have the money im just trying to do all the research for when I do have the money to be able to actually plan this all out im just trying to completely understand what I need at this point and you have put my foot in the door
  2. Well like I said, Dont really have a budget Im just using the graphics card as a place to start since I already have it and have been thinking about upgrading for a while now. Problem is I dont know what would be best part wise which is my main issue. Like if needed I can just get rid of all my old parts to completely rebuild around the card to make it work to its best ability, the one thing I do not want to rebuy is the actual card since its the most expensive part
  3. oh wow didnt know mine was considered THAT bad.. Thanks for that bit of information
  4. Question, should I use all the parts in that little build? Would it be wise to just completely rebuild everything from the ground up with the GPU as the center piece?
  5. Still pretty new to all this, other than the loud noise I hear from it from time to time and maybe the heat that comes from it? What are like the pros and cons of having one so bad??
  6. Not really I just want to slowly work towards as a goal in a way? Might sound silly but Ill just upgrade it as I go, so like if I need to buy the Mobo first in order for the CPU to work too id just include the best for the graphics card to get as much value out of it as possible but also making it last long.
  7. No I just have the 1TB hardrive, I have all the parts listed in the description besides the GPU. Everything is identical part wise
  8. So would this be the correct place to talk about overall updates?
  9. I used this old PC build a while ago maybe 2-3 years ago was never able to get a graphics card till about 2 summers ago, so my PC contains all this builds parts Im trying to understand how to better utalize my current graphics card which is an Gtx 1070, this one to be more specific (https://www.ebay.com/i/332169478061?chn=ps). I am wondering am I in anyway harming my GPU by "Bottlenecking" it ? I just found out about this term dont know too much about it besides what linus says in this video If I am harming it should I swap to a different GPU for a while just to be able to play other games besides the few that I am running to get an overall better FPS with no stutters and what not? I figure most of my game stutters are either coming from lack of a games optimization or because of my current build. Also if I should start rebuilding it what are some of the best parts to start working with? Will I have to do a complete rebuild also? I want to upgrade my PC since im not really satisfied with how it is running now with games like PUBG, Dead by daylight and Heros of the storm (from time to time). I want to eventually branch out and try to find some new games to like and enjoy but I dont want to harm how long the PC will last since 500$ on a GPU aint no joke for me. Just need second opinions since Ive been using the card for almost 2 years now. Im working around the graphics card live in the U.S and pretty much use my PC from everything to surfing the web to hours of gaming.. Eventually maybe I want to even start streaming also. Eventually maybe I want 3 monitors but thats way out of my price range so I can work with the one I have now.
