try to run the machine without the graphics card if you havent already you could just be missing drivers, or something else also, check if your cpu has any gunk under it since you de lidded it. If you haven't placed any thermal compound, or there is excess that hits the other parts of your processor, try as much to remove/add thermal goop. also, you can check the total wattage of your machine, and see if your power supply is too weak.

most modern / submodern builds (as long as it's able to fit your card) should be able to run it, you'll just need drivers for your card. -

linus used to be an employee at ncix, and was known for selling the most parts when he was working, so they later had him on a show (much like ltt) called "NCIX Tech Tips" (see the similarity?) He was probably sent a part from amd during those days and they must have given the box to yer dad to hold those parts. heh.

They seem to be reputable, and they were, but i've seen some complaints filed against them that they were given the wrong item or it never shipped. Their reputation seems to be a bit questionable now a days, but they seem to be trying to fix these issues. If you never get your item or the wrong item, try to complain against them. -
