  1. Bear in mind this is a *terrible* way to collect data on actual numbers. Chances are you're going to get a lot of responses from iOS users as they see this and get the urge to say "Hey I'm different!" Vocal minorities and all that. Even some sort of Twitter poll from a large YouTuber would be a better way to collect data than this, although even that isn't perfect.
  2. ohhhhhhh I see (and feel that with my hand near it now that you mention it)
  3. Sounds good. The GPU isn't a problem then?
  4. for reference I have the Corsair 100R case It just seems like with the way it's mounted, the GPU is just blowing hot air to the bottom where there is no airflow. Maybe this is alright and normal though, I don't know. I'm new to this.
  5. I figured as much. According to Luke's video, you start getting diminishing returns after two fans, so I guess I'll go buy an intake fan. Also the GPU is just blowing air down onto the PSU and there's no fans dow there sucking hot air out. Any solution for airflow there?
  6. I just ran a test. I did the GTA V benchmark at maximum settings 1080p and my GPU ran somewhere in the 40's with the side panel off. After giving it some time to cool, I ran the benchmark again with the side panel on and it was at 60 degrees by the end of the benchmark. I assume this is because I only have one case fan and it's not enough to really take advantage of an enclosed space to create negative pressure and good airflow and all that?
  7. Yeah Right now I'm gonna just look into better cooling because my games start stuttering after a few hours and I believe it's due to card heating up.
  8. is the pricing thing the only reason?
  9. Felt odd getting a 1070 Ti and then a few days later Linus uploading a video review of it saying "WTF Nvidia?"
  10. eh 1070 Ti seems to have a bad reputation
  11. Selling it seems like running the risk of just no one being interested in a barely used 1070 Ti
  12. TBH My friend kind of impulse bought the 1070 Ti for me on launch without much prior research.
  13. So my current rig has a single 1070 Ti in it. I'm thinking of upgrading down the line for high refresh rate 1080p gaming/possibly higher res gaming once I get enough money to comfortably afford a 1440p or 4K monitor. What I'm wondering is whether I would be better off buying a 1080 Ti or something like that as a direct upgrade, or buying a second 1070 Ti and running the two in SLI. Which would grant a better performance gain for my money?
