Hi all, I recently removed my sound blaster Zx from my rig because I can't fit it anywhere due to GPU orientation and have been looking at USB DAC and AMP combos. After reading a lot of reviews, I narrowed it down to Sound blaster E5, Audioengine D1 and the FIIO E10K (please keep it to Australian pricing and availability) So what do you recommend to drive these devices? HD 598, Logitech Z623, Shure 215BE and ATH-ADG1

Cheers, do you know much about the differences between the TD-8840T and the TD-8817 apart from the ethernet ports?
-
thanks for your feedback, I work at umart and I have work tomorrow so I was hoping I could buy something from my work and sadly we don't supply Dreytek but I guess If i get either of the TP links, it will sit as a dumb modem since everything would be handled by the asus?

I am currently deciding on buying a replacement modem for my BoBlite (an Aussie telco provided ADSL2+ modem/router/VOIP) and I'm not sure which one to buy. I was thinking of buying an cheap TD-8840T or TD-8817 as they are only to be used as bridges to my asus RT-AC68U. I was wondering will I loose performance torrenting as apparently the TP link modems have small NAT's and RAM? (I will need more explanation on this point) Maybe relevant information? My primary uses for the internet include: Games, torrents, web browsing. A max of 7 devices or so are connected to the network at all times. Any help would be grand because my network needs an overhaul.

A lot of people say to mount the rad at the front, apparently clearance is tight and since I have a Z97 sabertooth mark S it sticks out a bit more- 11 replies

I know, the fans aren't quiet but the phanteks http://www.phanteks.com/PH-F140HP.html don't seem to be doing the job. I was leaning towards that as well but I wonder about the top mounted 240mm rad- 11 replies

Hi everyone, Recently I want to buy a new case to go with my black and white build on my computer and I have been wondering which case I should buy. I have narrowed it down to two cases and would just like you to help me decide on which case to get and why (currently using a fractal define R4) Suggestions are more than welcome. (current build http://imgur.com/a/v46sg) http://www.thermaltake.com/Chassis/Mid_Tower_/Core/C_00002914/Core_P3_Snow_Edition/design.htm http://www.corsair.com/en-au/carbide-series-clear-400c-compact-mid-tower-case-white http://www.corsair.com/en/vengeance-c70-mid-tower-gaming-case-arctic-white http://www.corsair.com/en/graphite-series-760t-arctic-white-full-tower-windowed-case http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=669 I have also been thinking about how to address cooling my two GTX 980ti's without liquid cooling (as playing wow with the top GPU hitting 80c+ is not really how i want it to run (will be bringing in two noctua NFA14 industrial 2000rpm fans for front intake)

Yay for using the search function before starting my own topic, It's good to know that having two gpus and a wlan card is effectively only x8 for the GPU rather than x8/x4/x4 (with the wlan card using one of the x4's)

Since upgrading my CPU would be a waste, the best area for gaming performance would be getting another GTX 980TI right?
-
If i somehow manage to sell it for $250, should i go for it? (AUD BTW)

compared to an I7 4770, is it worth though?

Hi guys, Recently bought myself an Z97 sabertooth mark S and I was thinking of doing a CPU upgrade as well (coming from an I7 4770 (non K)). My question is, and tell me it's stupid and a waste of money to buy an I7 4790K or I5 4690K. Please try and convince me I do not need either as I only game with multitasking and I might overclock.

so going for the ITX build using most of my current parts except the new ITX mobo? -
Hi everyone, I have recent come into the possession of an Ncase (ITX) and im not sure what to do with it. I was thinking at first building a new PC from scratch using an I5 6600k, new mobo/w wifi and DDR4 ram. However I really want the most cost effective option as I am already running an CPU: I7 4770 Mobo: Z87 gryphon RAM: 16gb DDR3 Storage 2 x 2.5inch SSD 120gb, 2tb HDD PSU: seasonic 760w platinum psu GPU: GTX 980ti CASE: Fractal R4 W/ window WLAN: Asus AC1900 Right now I am torn between these options Option A: Build an new ITX rig (Expensive) (possibly selling my current CPU, MOBO, COOLER, RAM) Option B: Try and find ITX Z87/Z97 motherboards and install 980ti, CPU and ram Option C: Buy an new ASUS MAXIMUS VI HERO motherboard (Or an Z97 ATX motherboard) and replace my gryphon + Add another 980ti (maybe a new PSU if 760w is not enough for two 980ti's) Option D: sell the Ncase and go for option C as well In regards to option C, my original goal before the Ncase was to get a ATX board and then buy another 980ti to sli them (even if I run only 1 60hz 1440p monitor and a 2ndary 1080p monitor) FAQ: I am currently in Australia and having a really hard time finding ITX Z87/Z97 boards I play games I am also an idiot

just the overclocking headroom (due to extra power) would be worth it

Hi So for the past half a year I have been getting the Page_fault_in non-paged_area BSOD only when im using bit torrents programs (deluge, utorrent, games that use peer to peer like warthunder etc) it is inconsistent when it crashes, sometimes it will be fine and other times it will just crash. I have already looked all over the web for ways to fix it permanently(such as adjusting page file settings etc) and still it won't work. I have run windows memory diagnostic tool and everything is fine. I am beginning to suspect it is a hardware RAM issue but would like a 2nd opinion PC specs: Windows 10 i7 4770 16gb Kingston 1600 DDR3 Z87 Gryphon (apologies if this is posted in the wrong area)
