  1. Hi all, I recently removed my sound blaster Zx from my rig because I can't fit it anywhere due to GPU orientation and have been looking at USB DAC and AMP combos. After reading a lot of reviews, I narrowed it down to Sound blaster E5, Audioengine D1 and the FIIO E10K (please keep it to Australian pricing and availability) So what do you recommend to drive these devices? HD 598, Logitech Z623, Shure 215BE and ATH-ADG1
  2. Cheers, do you know much about the differences between the TD-8840T and the TD-8817 apart from the ethernet ports?
  3. thanks for your feedback, I work at umart and I have work tomorrow so I was hoping I could buy something from my work and sadly we don't supply Dreytek but I guess If i get either of the TP links, it will sit as a dumb modem since everything would be handled by the asus?
  4. I am currently deciding on buying a replacement modem for my BoBlite (an Aussie telco provided ADSL2+ modem/router/VOIP) and I'm not sure which one to buy. I was thinking of buying an cheap TD-8840T or TD-8817 as they are only to be used as bridges to my asus RT-AC68U. I was wondering will I loose performance torrenting as apparently the TP link modems have small NAT's and RAM? (I will need more explanation on this point) Maybe relevant information? My primary uses for the internet include: Games, torrents, web browsing. A max of 7 devices or so are connected to the network at all times. Any help would be grand because my network needs an overhaul.
  5. well.. im adding http://www.thermaltake.com/Chassis/Mid_Tower_/Core/C_00002914/Core_P3_Snow_Edition/design.htm to the list..
  6. A lot of people say to mount the rad at the front, apparently clearance is tight and since I have a Z97 sabertooth mark S it sticks out a bit more
  7. I know, the fans aren't quiet but the phanteks http://www.phanteks.com/PH-F140HP.html don't seem to be doing the job. I was leaning towards that as well but I wonder about the top mounted 240mm rad
  8. Hi everyone, Recently I want to buy a new case to go with my black and white build on my computer and I have been wondering which case I should buy. I have narrowed it down to two cases and would just like you to help me decide on which case to get and why (currently using a fractal define R4) Suggestions are more than welcome. 9. Yay for using the search function before starting my own topic, It's good to know that having two gpus and a wlan card is effectively only x8 for the GPU rather than x8/x4/x4 (with the wlan card using one of the x4's)
  10. Since upgrading my CPU would be a waste, the best area for gaming performance would be getting another GTX 980TI right?
  11. If i somehow manage to sell it for $250, should i go for it? (AUD BTW)
  12. compared to an I7 4770, is it worth though?
  13. Hi guys, Recently bought myself an Z97 sabertooth mark S and I was thinking of doing a CPU upgrade as well (coming from an I7 4770 (non K)). My question is, and tell me it's stupid and a waste of money to buy an I7 4790K or I5 4690K. Please try and convince me I do not need either as I only game with multitasking and I might overclock.
