  1. My PC has been freezing more and more frequently at strange times. Sometimes its with multiple tabs, Unreal Engine 4 and discord open. Other times its just a chrome tab with a video. And sometimes its when closing out of a game. It's hard for me to pin down what's causing this. The only thing that seems off is that my CPU is sitting around 51c idle, which is a little high, but I live in a warmer climate. Windows is up to date, my GPU drivers are up to date, I have not tried to update my bios or chipset drivers yet. I scanned my SSDs for errors through windows and nothing was detected. Any solutions and insight to what could be causing this is appreciated. Specs: Ryzen 5900x Asus Prime x570 Pro Corsair iCUE H150 32GB of G.Skill Trident Z Ram running at default speeds Zotac GTX 1080 800 Watt Power Supply thats about 5 years old at this point, don't recognize the brand but I haven't had issues with it before.
  2. I ended up reinstalling synapse! Thanks for your input thought, I appreciate it!
  3. I've been having tons of issues with my PC lately. I think there's a severed connection in my mouse cord, but when I turned on my computer this morning the lights on it were blinking and the cursor wouldn't move. Found out that it was USB issue, and switched so that it was plugged into my keyboard. Mouse is a Razer Mamba TE and keyboard is a Blackwidow chroma. About 30 minutes later, the same issue happens on the USB port for my keyboard, except now my keyboard starts doing the same thing my mouse had and stopped working. I turn off my computer, unplug everything, plus it back in to some of my other ports, and everything works except for the lights on my keyboard. Has anyone had a problem like this? Any ideas as to what could be causing it? A few people I know suggested maybe it's my wattage. i7-3770 GTX 1080 800 Watt Power Supply 16 GB RAM
  4. Quick update: The audio jack in the front of my pc still works, my keyboard works with a usb device like headphones, but not earbuds.
  5. For the last 2 years I've been using the audio from a keyboard that plugs into the audio and mic jack in the back of my computer, using earbuds. I also used a pair of usb speakers and could control the volume of both through the speaker/headphones section on the volume mixer. Just today the audio coming through my keyboard into the earbuds stopped working. I've restarted my computer and re plugged all my audio devices but still can't get audio. Any suggestions?
  6. Hey everyone! I'm considering a big upgrade from my R9 270 to a GTX 1080. My only concern is that GPU performance might be bottle-necked by processor. I have an i7-3770 running at 3.40GHz and I'm not quite sure how it'll affect the performance if I upgrade. Would it make a significant impact if I didn't upgrade? Should I try and upgrade both? Any insight and information is appreciated!
