  1. I didn’t install relive this time, whatever that is. But I did install the latest optional update for Radeon which I believe is 17.11.4
  2. Yes I verified the game cache, and no mods yet, I just wanted to see how it would run first. And I have tried the windowed mode, and if I set it to windowed, immediately after a restart, I can usually get a bootable version. However, when I close the game down, to alter the graphic presets, it does not launch again. I haven’t tried running it from the .exe, I’ll give that a shot later on, and post my results. Not running any overlays, not even the steam optional one.
  3. I tried running DDU, and reinstalling, but no change. Any other ideas?
  4. Okay ran DDU, no change. Game still crashes during launch. This is so frustrating, any other tips?
  5. Lol nope, properly connected to the GPU
  6. I’ll try that, and repost after with an update
  7. I did not try DDU, but I did try manually uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. And I’m running the latest optional build 17.14.1 I believe.
  8. I have tried reinstalling, both the game files and the gpu drivers. The game does not natively recognize the gpu, and i believe this is likely connected.
  9. I recently purchased a prebuilt from cyberpower pc, running a Ryzen 5 1400, with 8gb G-Skill ddr4-2400, running in single channel, with an MSI RX 580 Armor OC 4gb. I have had trouble with Fallout 4, and haven’t been able to get past the launcher. All the drivers are properly installed, and there was no issues during installation. Can anyone offer any advice? Or a possible fix? UPDATE: 12/7 So I tried running DDU, and doing a reinstall of the Radeon drivers, but no change. Does anyone have anything beyond that? Someone else mentioned doing a bios and chipset update, and that’s just a little over my head, can anyone offer any guidance? UPDATE: 12/12 Hey everyone, thanks for all your help and input. Yesterday, AMD pushed an update for the Radeon GPU drivers, and after running the update, the issue has been resolved, as I’m able to get the game up and running, at 1080p at around 70-90 FPS, with mods on the high preset. Not sure why this update and not the last one fixed the issue, but at least it’s working now(pretty smoothly too). Thanks again!!
