  1. Since this is in off topic now; Wonder how all the people getting paid are crypto is feeling now. Also, I don't fully understand this, but its a big thread blowing up right now about a crypto coin crashing oh, and also this
  2. I don't see how the charging port isn't equally as minor of those other changes
  3. I hope its true. When I go to thrift store I always see huge bundles of completely outdated proprietary cables for that was likely only used for one or two devices. So much e-waste. No reason to need a new cable for every new device you get. But they already DO have separate SKUs, right? "Versions: A2633 (International); A2482 (USA); A2631 (Canada, Japan); A2634 (China, Hong Kong); A2635 (Russia)" https://www.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_13-11103.php
  4. I think you were looking at what is currently for sell, not past sold items.
  5. Has the account been around for a long time? If so, its fine.
  6. if your budget is under $100, you should just use your own phone. I use the autoboy black box app and mount my phone to my windshield. On long road trip, I use my old phone so i'm not draining my current phone's battery.
  7. Never understood how it lasted this long. Should have died 10 years ago once everyone started to have a smartphone. Why would anyone want to carry 2 separate devices?
  8. Its just an overclocked version of the original. It's extra power might even mean you'll need to upgrade your psu to use it, making it even more expensive.
  9. ~20 views times 2 million uploads is actually a decent amount. He has 19 million views total This is just a spam channel. idk how youtube hasn't caught it yet and banned him.
  10. Thats why I mentioned that in OP. Yes, the investment market as a whole is down, but bitcoin is down much more. In the past 5 days, the DOW is down 2.5%, while bitcoin is down 17%
  11. Yes, if its not removed, which is what I said. Thats not the same responsibility. If I post illegal content on LTT, then I go to jail, and LTT gets a friendly message asking for it to be removed or face similar jail time. If youtube or LTT forums were considered a publisher, then they wouldn't get that friendly message asking for it to be removed, they'd be sent to jail for publishing illegal content.
  12. ...huh. bitcoin and tsla are both down the almost exact % year-to-date. within .1%
  13. Summary Bitcoin is worth half of what it was worth in November 2021 Quotes My thoughts I'll mention that the stock market isn't doing too great right now either, but its only down 11% YTD, compared to bitcoin being down 32% YTD. Investments as a whole are down a little bit recently, possibly largely due to higher than average inflation (~8.5% compared to the average of ~2.5%) and higher interest rates. Searching for bitcoin and NFTs are both trending down. Sources https://fortune.com/2022/05/09/bitcoins-price-half-down-from-peak-crypto-plunge-continues/
  14. which law? No they aren't. They are responsible for removing illegal content, but not responsible for the content being posted there. You upload illegal content to these forums and you'll be the one going to jail, not Linus.
  15. again, I don't see how you are blaming YT here. Why do you think youtube was doing that exactly? For the fun of it? It was because of the laws they were dealing with. Youtube isn't a publisher, so the line between who is responsible for the content on youtube is a gray line between the creator and youtube itself.
  16. by "inflated rate" I mean "above msrp". I just checked amazon and I could find a 6600 at msrp right now
  17. Sure.. but 8.5% isn't much compared to the more than 100% increase in price that GPUs were experiencing a few months ago. A new 3060 equivilant card should be cheaper, not roughly the same price as a 3060's msrp since the intel card will be launching more than a year later and likely have fewer features.
  18. Seems a little expensive unless the inflated GPU prices start trending back up again.
  19. huh? How could you spin it to instead blame YT? YT can't determine if a video is made for kids or not, thats up to the content creator to properly label.
  20. Thats fair, but nvidia did make their investment into crypto fairly well known, so anyone investing in nvidia knew that a % of their sales were due to crypto, its just the exact % that was muddled, and its hard to say how much nvidia muddled that themselves on purpose vs it simply being near impossible to know how many gamers are buying geforce cards vs miners.
  21. So, how much is that? I read some more and it still seems weird to me, but I may not be understanding it fully. Basically, they claimed crypto folks were buying up a lot of GPUs, they just failed to acknowledge the extent they were buying geforce GPUs, as the implication was crypto folks were mainly buying the crypto specific cards. So when they reported, say, a 50% increase in geforce cards, they were "misleading investors" by implying most or all those sales were to gamers. Its really stupid because I'm an Nvidia investor and I don't care who they sell to, I just care that they are selling cards in general and making money. I guess there is some investor out that they REALLY care about nvidia's specific growth is certain sectors like gaming or crypto, but this just sounds really like a nit-pick.
  22. ..wait, what? I remembered Nvidia bragging relentlessly about how amazing crypto is for their revenue. they pushed crypto hard. See? I even posted about it back then too!! So this makes ZERO sense to me. Thats 3 months of his salary, not "an hr"
