  1. timestamp 6:55 isn't true. Adobe photoshop elements is a one time purchase. Not a subscription.
  2. Did this video have fake 60fps? Something about the fps seemed off, but maybe its because i'm not used to ltt videos at 60fps
  3. "6700.. is a beast for 1080p or even 1440p gaming" ..meanwhile I'm using my GTX 980 for 1440p and 4k gaming. the 6700 xt can 100% handle 4k on most games.
  4. Its been working fine for me for 3 years. The "set up" includes the complicated task of... taping an app and placing it into the mount. Connecting to bluetooth takes longer than that. heat isn't an issue as long as its not in the sun, and unmounting it takes 2 seconds, which is way better than the dashcams you can't easily detach and hide from sight. Video from my old phone: For reference, I don't drive often. It would maybe be useful to get a dashcam if I drove long distances weekly.
  5. A mount like this, and use your phone. Much much cheaper and better quality https://smile.amazon.com/Universal-Dashboard-Adjustable-Compatible-iPhoneXS/dp/B07HMG1H78/ref=sr_1_20?crid=19B7RM105LN5U&keywords=car+window+phone&qid=1660502523&sprefix=car+window+phon%2Caps%2C126&sr=8-20
  6. "can't afford" doesn't mean "doesn't have the money to make the purchase". Just because I have $2000 in the bank right now doesn't mean I can afford to buy a $2000 or even $1000 phone. having $82 billion net worth is not the same as having $82 billion funds available. Just because my house is worth $120k doesn't mean I have $120k in funds to spend. How would banning the most toxic person on the platform show that its toxic? Wouldn't it do the exact opposite?
  7. Telsa shares have dropped off a cliff, so he can't afford the purchase now, so he's looking for any excuse he can find to get out of the deal while not violating any laws or making himself look bad.
  8. yea, and? Similar for my camera. I don't see the point of keeping raw files around for very long after editing the photos. Unless he is saving every single photo he takes, and by that I mean including every unfocused and test shots, then I don't see how a single person is taking that many photos. Thats 10s of thousands of photos. I've only taken around 11,000 photos in my ~5 years of photography. I take a lot of duplicate shots to ensure focus is right, so i'm deleting a lot of photos.
  9. How many photos is that to take up multiple TB of storage??? I have 1400 photos only taking up 8GB of storage. Is he keeping every single photo he takes and storing them all in raw?
  10. The new F-150 Lightning and ioniq 5 both have ~500km range versions. 200 - 300 range is the standard for most new EVs. Anywhere without "good grid and electricity" isn't going to have good access to gasoline either. Unless you plan to take a road trip through completely barren areas devoid of any human life for hundreds of km, then there is no issue in driving an electric car. ~300k is many hours of driving. Unless you are a delivery driver, the odds of you needing to drive for multiple hours non-stop is almost 0.
  11. Ok, lets try this again. Try actually answering the question this time. You said "some dont have enough range", and I want you to tell me, how much is "enough" range? I would like a single number response in either miles or km.
  12. No. The goal is to reduce those. Its not a binary switch where it must be all or none. Suggesting that electric cars that get power from coal or gas power plants is no better than using gasoline cars is just wrong. again, thats political. We CAN have it, and its being built. The same thing that happens if there is a gas shortage? This is an completely made up fear. The odds of you being at near 0% charge when arriving home and the power being out for 8+ hours is almost non-existent outside of a major disaster. What is much much more likely if your your car to have 50%+ charge, and when the power goes out, you can use your car's battery to power your house. you presented both the problem and the solution within 2 sentences. How much is "enough"
  13. BUT IT IS IT LITERALLY IS Literally where are people getting this idea that gasoline engines are somehow more efficient than coal or gas power plants?? Where? Who is spreading that lie? An electric car powered by a coal or gas power plant produces less emissions than gasoline car does. We tripled our energy consumption when air conditioning was introduced. If we could scale up electricity production 70 years ago, we can do it again. Its a political issue, not some fundamental power issue.
  14. same. I decided to report it too since you're right, its misleading enough to be reportable.
  15. I think Linus has a lot of interesting insight into a lot of tech news, but yea, Luke's knowledge and opinions are fairly basic though.
  16. ok i'm not whining yea, thats what I usually do. The time stamps really do make it much easier to watch and skip to the good parts. kinda. I think its getting to the point where even though the videos are a little longer (last 2 wan shows have been 1.5 hours, not 2), its still less tech news content. Its gotten worse lately since, unlike before, they don't even wait until the end of the show do to the Q&A, its sprinkled throughout the show, making it a little less enjoyable having to skip around more.
  17. I'm really not a fan of how the show has changed from having a focus on tech news and discussions to now almost entirely being just LTT Q&A. Its now to the point where more than half the show is just answering questions from viewers and talking about merch. Some of the Q&A is interesting, but I don't like how it has just taken over the show now. 2 years ago I'd listen from start to finish, even through sponsors if they were new sponsors, but now I'm barely even watching through half the video since I'm interested in the tech news, not so much about what Linus's favorite hobby or whatever.
  18. how is that bad, exactly? If not for them, you'd get $0 good lord, did you fail elementary math? How much money do you think consumers would be making if those "evil" lawyers decided to instead work for free in this case? I am dying to know.
  19. huh? Thats not even remotely true. There isn't a fixed amount of wealth. If you chop down some trees and build a log cabin, you're wealth will go up. If everyone did that, everyone's wealth will go up, and no one loses any wealth. One person gaining wealth has no negative impact on another person's ability in gaining wealth.
