  1. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/n89HYr This is the system I am trying to boot. The green LED is for BOOT, not the Power LED, which is also lit up a blood orange but I didn't think to mention it. I have tried to use one stick of RAM in numerous slots but to no avail. I am still searching but I cannot find any solution.
  2. So I just built my PC and tried to start it up. No display to my monitor. Noticed that there was a green LED next to Boot, thought that meant it had booted. Turns out I was wrong and this greeny yellowy light means that the motherboard has failed to boot. I have been searching all over for a possible solution but almost all failed POST's are to do with RAM and not boot. If anyone can give some information on how I can fix this, that would be great. I 'tried' the CMOS thing where you power down and touch metal on both the little pins but this didn't work, maybe I did it wrong?
  3. anyone know of any videos to watch while I am building it to help me along? I know there is a Bitwit one that is quite good but are there any others?
  4. You can get it on mobile, but it is also in the Opera browser. Don't know if you can download it separate from the browser for PC.
  5. Personally I use OperaVPN, unlimited usage and they claim that they don't store your data. They claim.
  6. Building my new PC today, got any tips so I don't royally mess it up?
  7. If I were to get my Graphics card SLI (ASUS STRIX 1080ti) it would be around 733w according to PCPartPicker, so I guess 850w would be the smarter choice, does the Corsair one come with a ECO mode or anything like that? I haven't really looked into it like I have the EVGA one.
  8. I'm stuck between buying the EVGA G3 750W power supply or the Corsair RMi/RMx 850w power supply. Both are the same price. Is it better to go for EVGA or Corsair here (if corsair, which one?) Because I will get 100w more with Corsair but is there any difference in reliability between the two? Thanks
  9. I know it is a great cooler, but I just find the exposed heat sink so ugly, you've brought me back to the question of do I try and fit the NH U12S with the heatsink cover on into my case, even though it would be 3mm over the clearance height of the S340 Elite or do I try it with this cooler?
  10. As the name states, no I do not. The second fan is more for aesthetic tbh, although I'm not exactly set on it. Know of any way to control the Quad Lumi without having to use NZXT's CAM software? or is that a compromise I have to make? Is that available in the UK? can only find newegg selling it.
  11. This will allow me to use fans on both sides? along with RAM clearance? Can you recommend any fans that 120mm and black then? maybe the new Noctua chromax fans? My original plan was to buy the Noctua NH U12S and buy the chromax fans and the chromax heatsink cover but it is 3mm over my cases CPU clearance FeelsBadMan
  12. Will there be enough headers on the board to use Aura Sync on the fans though? I know I don't need to with the LED's but for the RGB ones.
  13. I am wanting to get an Air Cooler for my CPU and I need it to have: RAM Clearance, Under 161mm, Has a heatsink cover, has the ability to have fans on either side of the heatsink and the ability for me to be able to replace the fans with Corsair ML120 LED Blue's on either side (if this is possible) If you can recommend anything I will be very grateful, I have been looking for a while now. Thanks
  14. I am getting the ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-E and I am also getting 6 fans, 4 for the case and two for the CPU Cooler (if you can recommend me a good CPU Cooler with a heatsink cover, RAM clearance and under 161mm with the ability to switch the fans, you are a God). I was wondering if the Corsair Commander Pro is necessary for me to buy with this amount of fans. The fans are: 2 x Corsair LL120 RGB 2 x Corsair LL140 RGB (buying as a package, comes with the Lighting Node PRO) 2 x Corsair ML120 LED Blue Would I have to buy the Corsair Commander Pro to handle all of these fans? Thanks https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/8K2D6X (CPU Cooler is a placeholder for cost)
