  1. I did. I put my old I5 back in and i lowered the Voltage on ram manualy to 1.35v without resseting the Cmos then i checked if the system would boot and it did. Then i replaced the I5 with the I7
  2. It's an Asus H110M-K D3 It has a LGA 1151 socket and uses DDR3/DDR3L slots. Also the Intel website states that the I7-7700k can rum with DDR3L so i dont know why that wouldnt work.
  3. So recently i bought myself a new I7-7700k from newegg. Lets just get right to the point. I've done all the troubleshooting there possibly is. And i think i've narrowed it down. The Kaby Lake architecture doesn't like my 16 Gigs of 1.5v DDR3. So in the bios i lowered the voltage to 1.35 myself. The system still doesn't post. Does this mean that i'm still dumb for trying to use DDR3 or should i get DDR3L and be done with it. Or is my CPU faulty? What do you guys think. Should my system post if i run the memory at 1.35v? Ofcourse i can't reset the Cmos if i do this. But then again if i dont reset the Cmos after chancing my CPU with my systeem POST at all?
