  1. Oh, I didnt see that LOL. Jesus. I see. I don't mind if its more expensive, I just checked cablemod and for a 8pin single i guess its 20$. So maybe there is one on amazon for around that price idk. I'll continue looking and tomorrow ill check my PC / PSU box and see if i got any. Update: I found this? https://www.newegg.com/p/284-0044-00017 But its for 750 P2. idk if it'd matter?
  2. I'll check tomorrow once I am able. The power supply box probably has all the other cables inside it. I personally don't even know if I am running separate or split for my 1070 ftw xD. I gotta check that too. About the cable you sent. I get two of those right? I would personally like to just buy an 8pin to 8pin single cable instead of it splitting like that. But no idea.
  3. I plan on upgrading myself to a 3080 specifically the EVGA FTW Ultra. (Whenever it comes in stock). However, I've read that you must or need to have 2 separate PCI-E 8-pin instead of a singular split type. My PSU is a EVGA Supernova G2 750Watt. Can anyone recommend me some cables for the PCI-E? Guessing, I'll be needing 2 separate cables that are 8-pin. I'm not exactly sure if I need a specific brand, or something. Any guidance is appreciated <3.
  4. Thanks. I watched a video of someone unboxing and it didn't come with that cable. So I got kinda worried. Then realized the cable on the product page. So hopefully it comes with it. Would be doing that method benefit me though rather than using a optical port? Or does the sound still sound the same and just as good either way I go about it? Also, I see. Alright. I was willing to buy a Full DAC just incase it did make it sound any better, but if not then I wont. xD. Thanks
  5. So, just to understand. The wire I circled I would plug the 2 cables on the right into the "Active Speaker" and the singular cable on the left into my PC Motherboard? Also, would a full Full DAC make it any clearer or sound any better? I'd be interested in getting one if so.
  6. I've recently purchased a pair of R1700BT Speakers from Edifier. Arrives tomorrow and I just noticed, it doesn't have a optical in to plug into the PC. & I rather not use bluetooth. I'd like it to be wired. So how exactly should I hook these up to my pc? Do I need a another item to plug into and plug into pc? my motherboard is a Rog Strix z390-e. & the only "Dac" i have is a I'm Fulla Schiit. Which I use for my headphones. Any help is appreciated. Product in question is this: https://www.edifier.com/us/en/speakers/r1700bt-bluetooth-bookshelf-speakers Update: I came across this cable on the product page that it'll come with: Will this connect to the speaker then into my PC?
  7. @SupaKomputa @xg32 Last question. If I gone 4k. & switched to 1440p in-game. Will the resolution look worse compared to a native 1440p?
  8. I see. Well, hard part now is finding it in-stock lol.
  9. True. I agree. I'm sure with time, i'll get use to the 4k. The only thing i'm struggling with is if im in-game, do I have too change the desktop resolution to 1440p or in-game resolution? if I wanted to play a game at 1440p
  10. Price doesn't really matter too much, if I have to pay an extra price for a monitor that 100% surely will work/look good then ill get it. I'd love to try and wait for the AORUS FI27Q-X. So if you had to choose, you'd go for the LG? Cause the only two I been looking at are the Asus Tuf and the LG. Both seem good from Rtings.
  11. I see. I'll decide then between both resolutions. However; if you had to pick out one of the 1440p ones. Which do you think has the best features etc? Or work most well?
  12. Indeed. But if I switch to 1440p. Will it look just as good? WIll it give me better performance via Response Time, etc? I know for 4k, it makes the desktop smaller. Which is the only thing im worried about. Especially if im in-game, and in-game menus, mini map, etc is smaller. o.o I also sit about 1foot. Price does matter, but if 4k will last me longer than a 1440p for future-specific stuff. Then I can go 4k. I just want what will look best, but does both 1440p/4k without sacrificing options. Like, going 1440p in certain games to get an extra performance but still losing out on response time, quickness, etc. Cuz I do ply shooters sometimes.
  13. So get the LG950 4k? I have currently the gtx 1070. So I don't think my gpu atm will run 4k z-z. Probably barely 1440p. I'd like to also note, im planning on only playing 4k reso on single player games etc. Competitive shooters, I'll probably lower resolution to 1440p at most and gain more performance i hope the monitor will let me have better response time too
  14. I've searched on youtube, and some guy with the same set-up as me was getting 80-100fps in CoD: Cold War using Max settings, Ultra Ray Tracing, and DLSS on Quality. in 4K. So I would assume in games that don't have Ray Tracing I can probably get over 100fps closer to the 144. In 4k. & What i'm saying is if I wanted performance i can lower to 1440p anytime. But I'm just seeking some insight on if I should do that or just buy a 1440p.
  15. I've been searching, and sorry in advance for double posting. I realize I made a thread about this, however I didn't want to revive it. I've picked out these monitors so far. Main spec's I am looking into are: 1440p | IPS | G-Sync | 144hz (or more) | HDR. | 27inch. Upgrading From: ASUS VG248QE Monitors in question: 1440p Resolution ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQL1A LG 27GL850-B Samsung G7 * I'm unsure about the G7. I never had a curved monitor before. AORUS FI27Q-X AORUS FI27Q or AORUS FI27Q-P? 4K Monitor LG 27GN950 I'll be upgrading my GPU to a 3080 when they become available. I've like to upgrade from a 1080p to a 1440p. maybe 4k Note: I have a 4k OLED CX. So I don't know if it would be wise to buy a 4k Monitor, if I can just use my tv? But either way. Should I go for the LG 4k? or pick a monitor out from the other list for 1440p? The monitor i'm having my eye on is the Asus Tuf QL1A. I would go for the AORUS 27Q-X but it seems to be unavailable to purchase. Thanks for the feedback.
