    In my opinion I enjoy using Elementary os because its very cohesive and minimal. It has everything you'll need and works pretty well. They also have native apps for Elementary os in their new App center. Its a clean experience.

    If you haven't done this already, consider using Etcher.io, a free open source, Windows, Mac, and Linux compatible usb stick. Its a modern and easy layout to use. Heres a How-To video I made acouple months ago on it.
