ragedev got a reaction from Nosfy in GTX 980 Choice.
I have an MSI 980 and it works great, although I would have to say the kingpin edition is the best for OC

ragedev reacted to Nowak in NVIDIA Readying GM200-based GeForce GTX 980 Ti
I think that the 980 Ti is a case of people getting hyped up over nothing. There's no place for this card in the market. Here, let me bring up some points Jay made last night.
Some custom PCB 980s get up into the $650 - $800 price range. Then there's the Titan, which is $999, giving a gap between the custom board 980 market and the Titan. Calling it the 980 Ti would mean that it's also built on GM204, which means it would not have the same architecture as GM200, so it would have to be priced less than the Titan (<$999). This would mean that it would have to be priced around $750 - $800, which would undercut the custom board 980 market. How would you create a 980 Ti that would not destroy the market created by the board partners? It can't be faster than the Titan if it's on GM204, so it would have to be less than $999, but there's nowhere for it to fit comfortably between the Titan and the custom board market without killing one off. There was no 480 Ti, no 580 Ti and no 680 Ti. The 780 Ti was the first x80 Ti card. If anything, sites like Tweaktown are using the 980 Ti to get clicks, therefore views, and therefore money. Of course, we'll have to see what happens this summer, but I bet you guys there will be no 980 Ti.

ragedev got a reaction from HeyLookItsRed in clock_watchdog_timeout Error?
Yes that BSOD is CPU related. Normally means the CPU has locked up due to unstable OC/ Not enough volts. This is essentially what it is 'A watchdog timer (WDT) is a hardware timer that automatically generates a system reset if the main program neglects to periodically service it. It is often used to automatically reset an embedded device that hangs because of a software or hardware fault.'

My favorite kind of car is:
1. American
2. Rear Wheel Drive w/ Longitudinal Engine Mounting
3. Full Framed/Body on Frame
4. V8/ or Diesel
I love the feel of riding in full-framed vehicles especially the rigidity and the lower noise compared to a unibody. I adore RWD and all the characteristics that come with it (in a snowy state). I love the sound of American V8s and turbo I-6 Diesels.
My preferences led me to purchase a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria P71 from the Forest Lake, MN Police Dept. At the time of my purchase the car had 85,000 miles on it; now it has 92,500 on the odometer. I will be rebuilding the suspension over the coming months and I plan on doing some engine work to get my compression ratio to 13:1 so I can run more efficiently on E85. This car is mainly used for commuting between North Dakota and Minnesota and cruising the streets of Grand Forks. The 4.6L V8 has enough power for anything I've been able to throw at it. The fastest I've gotten up to in this thing is 121 mph and it was as smooth as butter.
As it sits in my driveway today:
