  1. Looks like the kit is supported by ASUS. It may be a motherboard defect, try contacting their support and see if they can provide any additional help.
  2. It sounds like you microphone's gain was increased somehow. If you didn't mess with your interface then try checking the Windows Sound Settings for the microphone and see if anything in there changed.
  3. No, what I mean is you can buy a CPU AIO and attach it to the GPU. You would be unable to run both together in a single loop. If you'd like to do that, then you'll need to run a custom loop, I'm fairly certain Linus has done a video on how to make a loop. If not, I know Jayz2Cents did one, detailing how you'd go about getting started on it.
  4. I mean... the whole point of the Kraken G12 is to be able to use a CPU liquid cooler on a GPU. That's why the mount is so cheap.
  5. Is there any reason as to why you'd want to uninstall them? After all if your device needs different drivers, you can just download and install them without uninstalling the generic ones.
  6. For the most part any of the USB Bluetooth 4.0 adapters will work fine. If it has a Qualcomm CSR8510 in it then regardless of the actual manufacturer of the product it will work. For example this one: http://a.co/1QxtxFI Alternatively you can always go for a wifi+bluetooth pcie card. I personally own this one http://a.co/5fHDlLz (Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I) and both the bluetooth and wifi work great on it, however it will be a little more expensive.
  7. If you're looking at doing mostly editing then the TR 1950x is by far the best CPU for the job. The I9 wins only in gaming and that's by only a few fps, not really worth it for the extra $$$. Also as far as upgrading goes, by the time these products become obsolete you'll be wanting to replace the entire system anyways.
  8. What does it say under the devices tab of your Oculus software? Are all the devices showing up as they should be?
  9. I'm currently studying game design myself and here are some things to consider: Game designer is a very broad term covering a ton of potential careers. This includes: 2D artist, Music/ Sound composer, 3D Modeler ( we really need those), programmers(primarily in JavaScript and C++/C#), level designers, character designers, and the list goes on. I recommend choosing 2-3 of those and specialize in them. As for programs to learn: I think the people above me covered the game engines quite well so I'll talk about the other software. Blender: Fantastic open source 3d modeling and animation program. Photoshop or GIMP: needed to make textures and art for your game. Audacity: for recording or creating sound effects. Some kind of IDE for programming. Unity comes with monodevelop included in the install, but I use Visual Studio myself for programming as it has a more robust set of features.
  10. You can get 7-zip here: https://www.7-zip.org/ That will allow you to unzip it
  11. Correct, the organization that controls them does not sell at the retail level. Instead you must go through a registrar (like GoDaddy, 1&1 Internet, etc.) in order to buy a domain. It sucks and really shouldn't be that way, but it is what it is.
  12. Probably the connector between the battery and the motherboard is dead or damaged in some way. I'd recommend taking either contacting ASUS if it's still under warranty or if not take it a repair shop to get a quote.
  13. And it would most likely communicate with the CPU via PCI anyways making it kind of unnecessary.
  14. I actually own this same monitor, and I can recommend it. I've had mine for about 8 months, with no issues. It also has freesync built in if you're using an AMD card, and while it's not the best utilization it (stutters a lot at FPS <40), it is a great feature to have at the price point.
