Is there a way to go back to lightdm3?

Holding left shift dosen't work on my laptop and since my laptop is not that great (micromax laptab lt777) the bios is not well made. I cant even choose a usb to boot to reinstall the os cause the bios dosent recognize the usb drive as bootable. It was cheap and old. I'll try a few other things and if it dosent work ill just scrap the laptop. Thanks for the suggestion tho. really appreciate it!

I installed KDE on my elementary OS machine using command line sudo tasksel install kubuntu-desktop It prompted me to choose between the desktop environment. After I chose SDDM and rebooted it is stuck at the elementary os logo screen and refuses to boot into kde. I thought it was grabbing some configuration files so I left it like that overnight but it was still stuck at that screen when i checked today morning. is there a way for me to fix this? like choose the DE before it boots and change it to lightdm?

No matter what I do the FPS for modern warfare 3 is capped at 48 fps. Lowering the settings dosent work. My setup : Ryzen 3 1300x GTX 1050Ti 8GB DDR4

so I copy pasted a code from a website to spam my friends. I wanna know how do I add a line of code so that I can have a trigger button. so that when the code is running in the background I can press the trigger button to execute the task. the code runs on vbscript as far as I know. can you help me please. thanks people I really appreciate it. Hey guys. Ive disabled windows defender on my pc (windows 10). But defender still keeps popping up and deleting my trainers and mods that i have installed. Ive tried going manually and disabling every feature one by one. But to no avail. How do i completely turn off windows defender?

Yeah, i use adblock too and it has helped me so far.

I know this isn't related to computer programs at all, but the amazon prime video app on my phone (mi max 2) skips 30-40 seconds ahead randomly. I've tried playing a different movie but it doesn't help. I also reinstalled the app but it didn't work either. If any of you guys are having the same problem or have a solution to this. PLZ HALP.

i have a ryzen 3 1300x and i cant see any problem with running AAA games (except AC4 and ROTTR. they arent that well optimized anyways). And its 92 dollars for a Ryzen 3 1300x. i say its a good bet. gaming on ryzen is not completely a lost cause

I'll say just jump for a 1050ti than a 1060 3GB. i have a 1050Ti and runs AAA games pretty well. Its cheaper and i dont see a difference in the gaming performance as far as i can see.

Tried this. It really works. im getting 55-60 fps on all high settings. a few hiccups here and there where it drops to 35 fps. But a smoother experience than before. Thanks.

Still runs very poorly even on the lowest settings possible.

Rise of the tomb raider also runs at 25 fps at low-off settings. Am i facing this just because they are older and not optimized for Ryzen?

Hey guys. I have a problem with my PC. I checked the system requirements for Assassins creed 4 a few days ago and my pc exceeded the recommended requirements for the game. but i cant run the game well. i touch 30-40 fps on high-ultra settings 1080p. Only when i drop the settings to low-off is when i can barely touch 60 fps 1080p. I'm not sure what the problem is. My Specs: Ryzen 3 1300x (Stock speed) MSI A320M PRO-VD PLUS. (MS-7B38) ASUS Phoenix GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB. Driver version - 398.82 Kingston HyperX fury 8GB running in single channel. I'm not sure what the problem is. Hope you guys can help.
