  1. My game settings are all at low except for effects and render distance.
  2. Hey, apologies if this is in the wrong thread but I couldn't seem to find one. I have a PC that I want to stream with (Ryzen 7 2700X, 1070, and 1 stick DDR4 16GB). When I booted up fortnite and tried to stream, I only got about ~90 fps. I could probably do it if I lowered the bitrate further but would anyone even want to watch a 2000 bitrate stream? I'm not sure what to sacrifice for quality. Sorry if this is a general question but essentially I'm asking if there is any way I could stream something watchable and still get 144 fps (and how to go about getting that). Thanks in advance!
  3. Hey I took your advice and didn't do anything. Worked out perfect, here is the final result! (Sorry for the poor image quality)
  4. Sadly I can't since that is my C drive, that's why I was confused.
  5. Thanks! That would be done after correct?
  6. Ok, much appreciated. If I were to go the "safer" route would it be hard to do?
  7. Are you sure? I've seen videos online where the performance was hindered before a fresh reboot.
  8. Hey, I'm upgrading to Ryzen from Intel (with a new motherboard). It seems I have to format it; but, I only have one solid state drive which my Windows is installed on. How do I progress from here? Thanks in advance.
  9. Ok, thanks for the help. I think I'll just go with the b450 then because it's cheaper and if I do overclock it will be very light. I don't think I'll be upgrading in the near future so it seems like getting a more expensive board won't help much further down the line because it won't support more than AM4. Thanks again for the help, much appreciated.
  10. Ok thanks, much appreciated! Should I be worried about upgrading in the future?
  11. Hey! I bought a Ryzen 2700X and a ASUS ROG STRIX B450-I Motherboard. At first the motherboard seemed like the right option; but after seeing the X470 motherboards that are a little bit more expensive I'm not sure if I should return it. Will I be able to overclock slightly on the B450? And will it support Ryzen in the future? The worst thing for me would have to be being a new motherboard one or two years down the line. Excuse my lack of knowledge I'm still new to the world of computers. Thanks in advance!
  12. I'm about to buy some parts and I want some outside opinions before I open my wallet. Here's my current build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fPbD6X I'm looking to upgrade my CPU so I can stream and the overall build aesthetically; I play on 144hz and for competitive games I need at least that many frames. I'm thinking about getting the Ryzen 7 2700X with the stock cooler (until I can get more money), an ASUS ROG STRIX B450 Motherboard, and lastly a H200i NZXT mini itx case. I'm curious about my choices and what I should invest in next. Thanks in advance!
  13. On the new list, ~200 more is all I'm willing to spend; small changes like RGB fans can be upgraded with a higher budget over time. I just want the essentials first—apologies for not clarifying originally.
