The problem is that i am only 15, and am getting all the money from my dad as a gift for finish my IGCSE examination, so he will let me upgrade the PC in one go, so i might not be able to buy that card later even if its cheaper...

I am going to upgrade my Graphics card next month and am in a mental tug of war thinking about which card i should get, so, i did the first thing anyone should do when they are in doubt. Come to the great people of LinusTechTips Forums. I wanted to keep the option of cards strictly nVidia because I am looking in to, maybe getting an nVidia Shield. But I am open to buy AMD cards if anyone can convince me. I am in utter confusion whether to get 2 GTX 770s or a lone GTX 780 (The 780ti is out of my price range), and the only AMD card that has even come remotely to my mind was the R9 290X. I would be grateful for any advice that you can give. Thanks in Advance

I have a Sapphire HD7850 OC Edition, and it has 4 ports on the back, a DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI and DisplayPort. I have 3 Dell S2240L monitors connected through a DVI-D to HDMI adapter, HDMI and a DisplayPort-to-VGA adapter (PC Master Race), and the DVI-I port is empty, so i tried connecting a Samsung SyncMaster 733NW to it through a DVI-I to VGA adapter but it cannot be enabled, or extended to. Is there any solution for this? I would be grateful for any help. Thanks in Advance.

I currently have a Sapphire HD 7850 OC card, and it has 4 ports in the back (1 DVI-I, 1 DVI-D, 1 HDMI, 1 DisplayPort), and I am currently using 3 Dell S2240L monitors, connected with an DVI-D to HDMI converter, one running on an HDMI connection and one running on a DisplayPort to VGA adapter. I have tried multiple times to connect a 4th monitor (Samsung SyncMaster 733NW) to the DVI-I port through a DVI-I to VGA converter, but when i try to extend my desktop to that display it tells me to try another configuration. I would be grateful to anyone that can help. Thanks in advance.

I use 3 Dell S2240L's. This monitor has small bezels, it has an average 5ms response time (good but not great for gaming) and has an IPS panel, so its great for movies and media consumption.

But I was hoping for something android....

I was looking to buy a new hand held gaming device to play on, when I leave the house. I was looking for something based on the Android operating system, such as the nVidia Sheild, and the Archos GamePad 2. I don't know if there are any better devices than this, if there are, I would be open to newer options. Any comment would be helpful. Thanks in Advance.

I was gonna get a new motherboard in around a month, I currently have the Asus P8-H67 B3 Rev which is an okay motherboard but not enough PCI-e slots, and no USB 3.0. I use my rig for mostly gaming and wanted some help in figuring out which MoBo I should buy. The only one I know of is The MSI Z77 gaming series, but is there any one that is better than that? Thanks in Advance.

It wasn't with malicious intent, I took it and later on, he took it as a joke.
