I have designed a media server for my IT class because we are not allowed to stream music from the internet so I thought why not have people bring in their own music and we put the music on a local server running subsonic or some other software and then it occurred to me that we would be liable for that music as in we don’t have licenses to the music so is there any legal way around that so the kids could stream their music from our local server / we have our royalty free music but everyone wants their own music/ if you have a solution or an explanation please site your sources so the assistant director has some reassurance if so
