Lamarkuss's Achievements

  1. Any ideas on good UV led case lighting solutions?
  2. I wish I didn't live in BFE where you cant get internet at all above 8 Mb/s DSL like FFS!
  3. I also would like to mention that the Zotac 780 Ti's are selling at 680$ U.S. which is a steal for 780s by themselves.
  4. Have you overclocked it and if so what are you running it at?
  5. well I would buy them now they look like great cards and are at 505$ us on newegg last time I checked!
  6. So I just stumbled upon a card (about a week agao ) that I have actually never seen before. (Browsing on newegg) The GTX 780 amped edition from zotac. It appears to be just a reference pcb with an aftermarket tri-fan cooler (of course there are no dB rating on the spec list) ,but it has received nothing but excellent reviews from multiple venders. It also raises questions when you look at the clock speeds its specs show a 1006 MHz base clock and a 1059 boost clock. Now that is significantly higher than a reference GTX 780 (863 MHz base clock and 900 MHz boost clock). So they must be simply over volting and clocking the card out of the factory and running it stable with their non reference cooler. Now heres where it changes the zotac model doesn't mention it having TXAA, G-sync , or gamestream. But still out of the box it has a higher base clock than any msi gtx780 card and higher than any gigabyte reference gtx 780 cards. so reviews thoughts throw them at me.
  7. I would shell out the cash for a bit more ram at a faster speed atleast 1866 and 16 gigs it will help alot in editing and even in gameplay and if not more ram use faster ram it isn't considerably much more in cost.
  8. Or just buy a caselabs refrigerator case.. heck to be honest if you were just throwing away money get a caselabs Magnum TX10-D and run two machines in it one as your editing machine and one as your gaming machine run two asus Z9PE-D8 ws lga 2011 boards get put 4960 x processors in both and run 4 780 tis on the gaming side and run high end quadro cards on the editing side set up a powerful raid controller for your memory and share memory in between machines making basically a nas inside use 64 gigs of high speed ram on the editing machine make it a ram disk then 16 or 32 gigs of 2400 ram and then pick up some high end water-blocks cool everything the chip-set the memory the cpus do two separate custom loops high end swiftech pumps and reservoirs use separately colored and themed custom cabling and tubing for both sides and get two high powered power supply's or more at the 1200 watt range and run 6 monitors 3 for gaming on bottom and 3 hard mounted on top..... I want to see this build log now ... Sorry i'm sure this wasn't very helpful to you but imagine that machine ...
  9. Ohkay so I am looking into doing custom individual wire sleeving on my corsair rm1000 power supply. The included modular cables are actually a flat low profile cable for every cable but I assume I should be able to split them apart rather easily if not please tell me. My other question is color and where to buy I would like to do half uv reactive neon blue and half matte black or gray/white sleeving too match the rest of my build. If you guys have any suggestions for a different color or anything throw them at me. I also would like to sleeve my fans headers as well if possible but I do not know what gauge of sleeving would work best for that. I believe the length of my 24 pin connector is 610 mm (14,640 mm) and my 8 pin is 650 (5,200 mm)and my 4 pcie cables (6+2) is 750 mm (24,000 mm total length). So without doing my molex connectors that will be 43,840 mm which we can just round to about 50 meters so i'm thinking around 25 meters of one color and 25 of the other color or about 75 feet give or take of each. My next question is fastening should I only use heat shrink or should I also use the zip tie trick on top of the heat shrink also if there are any heat shrinks you can recommend (for color and quality) give me some suggestions hopefully. Also I would love to hear some of your experiences and even see some of the sleeving you all have done.
  10. Anyone know how loud the SILVERSTONE FN121-P-BL 120mm led fans are?
  11. At 11 bucks a pop on newegg the spectres are looking pretty nice!
  12. So I am looking for some good quiet airflow optimized led fans (preferably blue). Pwm would always be a plus but not required. so send your ideas over here.
  13. I may just end up selling my 360 or saving it because Because I really do not want to rip out my 4 drive bays. then i could just do a 240 on top and front and a 120 on the bottom actually you can get away with a 280 in the front
  14. The top oddly enough has mounting points for a 360 rad natively yes but only top mounted which I have tried and it just looks well ugly.
  15. The front might but again I think it would require me removing my optical drive bays and moving my HDDs
