  1. I built my computer 9 months ago and before I just played console games, and before I had built my computer i never had any issues with ping or high packet loss and I normally get around 500up/down before and still do and always had a wired connection and my computer doesn't even have a WIFI card. But now ever since I built my computer I will randomly just get super high packet loss doing quite literally anything and it will crash my whole network to where my router itself wont give out a wifi signal to my TV or cellphone for like 2 minutes then will come back up I have done the obvious of restarting my router and all that jazz I don't OC anything and i have personally come down to the conclusion that it has to be my computer because nothing has changed network wise(besides the passing of time) besides me adding my computer to the network What could be the possibilities that are causing this or how can i better figure out how to solve this issue. It is just progressively getting more frequent also to where I can go maybe a day without it happening to it occurring every 2-10 minutes to where I just have to stop whatever I am doing to move to just watch something on my cellphone. I am more than open to sharing more details that may be needed to help troubleshoot this issue, this is just all that comes to mind at this moment
  2. So my new graphics card for my computer comes in Tuesday to finish my build and I really kind of want a second keyboard and im really torn between what keyboard I want. I currently have a Ducky One 2 mini pure white and I love it but I have cherry Mx silvers(speeds(I think)) on it and I can’t type worth a crap on them and so I want a full size keyboard with a numpad with either red or blue switches and I can’t find a ducky full-size in stock anywhere that I like, so I’m torn between the Corsair k57 and the steelseries apex 5. Now where I’m really torn is I have a steelseries mouse and headset so I’ll already have their software for those and then the software for my ducky. Any other keyboard suggestions are welcome as well but I’d like my spending range to stay within $125 and lower. I might go beyond that if it’s a reasonable enough sell to pay a little bit more
  3. Thank you very much for the replies
  4. so I have all the parts to put my pc together and would like to put it together today, but I don’t know if there is anything extra I would need that’s not on a parts list. So is there anything extra I would need I would not have at home? and I can’t really figure out where to post this so please if this is in the wrong area I’m sorry, can you move it to the right area?
  5. Ok question, the 3950x is sold out At bestbuy Near me and I was just browsing and saw the 3900x was roughly $300 less would that be a compromiseable cpu and compatible cpu with everything else in this build?
  6. Correct I don’t have any right now... and thank you for the list
  7. Price range is $2000 USD maybe $2500 It’s use is going to mainly be video editing but I would like to be able to play games On it when I’m not using it for editing. I would like to have 2 monitors at the start of use of the computer but would like to move to 3 in the future I would need to buy a copy of windows 10 but don’t need any other peripherals and my reasons for upgrading is because I don’t currently have a working computer
  8. Ok... update to this... i havent bought anything yet but a ultrawide LG monitor with G-sync and im curious with yalls opinion on this would this list be am ok Computer build can i save any money on it or even should i go up to an i7? i plan on putting a couple large sized games on the SSD along with the OS so thats the reason for the size of it or a better motherboard maybe?? i need to use wifi cant use ethernet and idk how campatible that board is was told it was a good board and that it would work for me but like i said in the first post im quite new and dont know how to tell if it does Link---> https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mGnMqk
  9. Aye thanks guy :^) you guys are great
  10. So im kinda new to this really badly need a new computer than my current laptop i use in which currents specs would be: Intel Core i3-6100U CPU @ 2.3ghz with the intel HD Graphics 520 with 8gb of ram and a 1tb hard drive with a resolution of 1366x768 15.6in screen... i might be missing a few things about it but thats like my current state of my computer and 1. Budget & Location my budget would be $1000 USD maybe a little bit less and im in the US of the A 2. Aim i would like the computer to be good enough so that i would be able to play arma 3 at an optimal rate in which on my current laptop i can play arma at the lowest settings possible and get 40 fps max depending on what we are doing and how many guys are in the server and what is happening 3. Monitors at the moment i would only be able and would prefer only buying 1 since i dont have a lot of room but soon would like to get at most 2 4. Peripherals i have a mouse and keyboard for my laptop that i use, i will need to get the Windows OS preferably 10 and as i said in the point above i would need to purchase atleast 1 monitor for now 5. Why are you upgrading? i have had my current laptop for about 2-3 years and using it very intensively pushing the CPU to its limit and its just dying on me... ive checked for driver updates that i can get or any other updates for the computer to try to improve it but its just dying on me and i use the computer everyday for work and i overall would like a better computer that im not gonna push to its limits hopefully as a lot of the games i play almost max the computers CPU disk and memory(as per what the task manager is saying) as it can become useless for several minutes at a time because of this and if any other information is needed im more than happy to provide
