Vibora reacted to Biohazard777 in Y splitter question
You are welcome.
Yeah it is common practice to have all of the fans on one side of your PC (or even all case fans) to spin at the same speed.
As long as that speed can be adjusted, and it can since all the fans will share the same PWM signal.

Vibora reacted to Andrewtst in G8 vs G7 vs M32UC
I assume both is Neo series as G8 only have Neo series but G7 got Neo and none Neo series.
For Neo G8 and Neo G7, both is VA in mini-LED and using latest VA panel which had very fast respond times and basically no black smearing issue. Beside this, both have 1,196 local dimming zones.
If you want pure black like OLED and good HDR performance, Neo G8 and Neo G7 is the choice but Neo G8 currently have little scanlines issue in certain color when running at 240hz, especially obvious in Microsoft Edge icon, the scanlines is gone when running at 120hz and they are no in between refresh rate others than 240hz and 120hz. For Neo G7 wise totally no scanlines issue running at maximum refresh rate of 165hz.
M32UC wise no local dimming zone and just an old type of VA panel with black smearing issue.

Vibora reacted to RevGAM in Best cooling configuration?
All 3 are from the bottom of the GC support frame to the bottom of the case.
GIven the dimensions: (D) 526mm x (W) 238mm x (H) 523mm
There is ample clearance above (need to look at cooler and other nearby parts' dimensions), below (highest position), in front of and behind. If you have to put the GC in the middle position, you can still use fans that are <=25mm. If you use the low position, you won't be able to mount any fans on the bottom. Sorry for being obvious.
I hope that helps.

Vibora reacted to RevGAM in Best cooling configuration?
It definitely has plenty of space with the kit.

Vibora reacted to PDifolco in Best cooling configuration?
Usual setup is Front and bottom intake, top and rear exhaust
-
Vibora reacted to PDifolco in Best cooling configuration?
Radiator would be better on top so air can move unhindered from front to back
Bottom fans can help GPU temp a bit only, they're not really needed

Vibora reacted to m9x3mos in Big difference in 4090s AIBs?
No, I have never seen any big differences between manufacturers. That all are using the same die for the card. Out of the box there might be minor performance differences but manually over clocking them you can get within margin of error from what I have seen building computers over the years now.
I you do not want to do any over clocking of the cards you might want to look up reviews of each to check there performance and keep that in mind when making your purchasing decision.

Vibora reacted to Stan2292 in Suggestions for a wired NC headphones?
noise cancelation through electronics isn't that much of a thing in wired headphones. but if you are looking at IEMs, there are great options in passive noise isolation that blocks out noise better than most active NCs. etymotic er2 and er4 series for example, i guarateed you will feel deaf after you insert them all the way into your ear canals.

Vibora reacted to RONOTHAN## in A build for 4k gaming.
It's a little complicated.
If you want to do RAM overclocking, get a 5600MT/s kit and overclock the snot out of it, any kit rated 5600MT/s should be able to do 6200MT/s with ease, and can sometimes do as well as 7000MT/s+. You can more or less ignore the primary timings, they matter a little but frequency is king when it comes to DDR5, and the secondary timings (things that aren't advertised in an XMP) are right behind frequency in terms of performance impact.
If you just wanna enable XMP and call it a day, it will depend on what motherboard you're gonna get. If you're going for a 4 DIMM Z690 board, I'd stick with a 6400MT/s or slower kit, you can probably get by with a faster kit but given how decidedly first gen those Z690 memory topologies were, it's probably best to stay 6400MT/s or lower. If you're gonna go Z790, get the fastest kit you can afford, though I'd probably stick to something below 7600MT/s for the best compatibility. If you're getting a 2 DIMM board (something like a Z690 Tachyon, Z690 Unify-X, Z690/Z790 Dark, Z690/Z790 Apex, any ITX board, etc.) get the fastest kit you can afford, those boards will run basically any memory frequency you try to with ease.

The AK620 seems to trade blows with the NH-D15 on some reviews but is usually worse and comparable to the NH-D15S.

Any of the mentioned coolers mentioned so far should be fine for cooling the 12900. Raising power limits can allow for more performance but that case be raised accordingly to thermal headroom.
There was an early review on Bilibili that seems be taken down. I'd recommend waiting for more reviews anyway.

Vibora reacted to Deadpool2onBlu-Ray in Opinions on these CPU Coolers?
So? You don't need to OC it. It's just a better value for the money. Even the 13600k will be better than the 12900 at gaming. It has way more cache/higher clockspeed

Vibora reacted to Tan3l6 in Opinions on these CPU Coolers?
If you don't care about RGB, then I think the biggest Arctic Freezer II that fits in your case. Though Corsair also has great AIO-s, but I'm 'not too familiar with em.

Vibora reacted to tim0901 in Rtx 4090 is a monster (Official Benchmarks)
Probably very much like this:
Given that GN currently use a 12700KF for their GPU bench.
Will one of the fastest gaming CPUs around be CPU bottlenecked?
In a handful of easy-to-run titles at "lower" (non-4K) resolutions, maybe. But it's just as possible that they're seeing engine limitations there. In most games at 4k? No.

Vibora reacted to brob in Thoughts on my next build?
DDR4-3600 CL 16 is the sweet spot for Ryzen. DDR4-3200 seems to be best for locked Alder Lake CPU.
I like air cooling for CPU. The NH-U12A is suitable for the i9-12900. Depending on memory height the Deepcool AK620 may offer an better and less expensive option.

Vibora reacted to GorujoCY in Motherboard WiFi vs My PCIE Network Adapter.
I say you can start using the onboard wifi and you could actually sell your previous card to a little lower price than new and you can make a buck while also using the onboard
at least that's how I would go about it,
what Wifi protocol is your router using? if it's WiFi 5 you can choose either one but WiFi 6 does get improvements over WiFi 5 but your choice, if you have WiFi 5 router/modem you won't benefit that kuch from your onboard WiFi 6

Apparently intel accidently leaked them. What they supposedly leaked is here. Don't know if this is a trustworthy site.

Vibora reacted to Somerandomtechyboi in Help with choosing a 12th gen CPU?
12700(f) is best value for gaming, but if you can take advantage of the ecores then the 12900 is worth it
If you dont overclock dont bother with a k cpu
K cpus can be used on non z boards but no multi adjustment (cpu oc is dead anyways so who cares, ram oc is better but maniacs only due to tendancy of driving you insane)
-
Vibora reacted to CommanderAlex in Help with choosing a 12th gen CPU?
12900K is overclockable, hence the "K". You will need a Z-series motherboard to be able to overclock the processor (also more expensive typically).
12900KS is overclockable and has a higher TDP, so higher power consumption for more performance.
12900KF is overclockable but has a disabled iGPU, so you will need a dedicated graphics card for video.
12900 is just a locked-frequency 12900K that does not allow for overclocking. Anytime you have an "F" suffix at the end of Intel's Core CPU naming, just means the iGPU is disabled (Refer to above at 12900KF).

Vibora reacted to Dedayog in Are table VESA mounts reliable?
Been using them at work for years now, depending on the brand and quality.. they'll last many years. They're fairly stout and made of metal, not like you "use" them a lot. Monitor hangs there, moved once in a while, but that's about it.
