I'd start with basics of how a computer functions nothing fancy. Just explaining what a CPU or Processor, what RAM is and how it is different from what your storage device does (nothing too indepth just basics so they understand it better). Also what the common ports are on a computer generally focusing on USB, Ethernet, HDMI/DVI and analog audio stuff.

I'd also cover Operating Systems what they do at their core. Different Operating Systems, Windows, OSX & Linux but keep the focus on Windows (unless they are using Macs primarily)

After that I'd get into simple things in windows like navigating the UI, what the task bar is, what File Explorer is but before that explaining what a program is and what they can do. Also using external storage, primarily USB Thumb drives which most people will likely have to use at some point.

These things can be spread over multiple sessions or can be covered quickly. I dunno how many sessions you have haha.

I'd dedicate a whole session however to the internet, what it is, how to use it. What it requires, how to navigate it. Safety, etc...

Apart from that those are the real basics. I'd suggest having a test on paper with some basic things nothing fancy. and if you have the time maybe have each "student"
perform some simple tasks on windows, moving a file to a usb drive for example. Something they may have to do.

That's my suggestion hope it helps get the juices flowing ! I don't know what your exact demographic is but I oriented it more towards 40+.
    Good Luck !

Edit: Just an after thought you could also use some Tech Quickie videos to help if you want to preface a topic quickly or end a topic with something rapid fire, or just to give another perspective on things.

Yeah, sandisk drives are really slow. Bought a 850 evo for my laptop and that thing is miles faster than the ultra II in my PC.

I don't see this going anywhere - You want to file a lawsuite against 2 companys or even more because You had bad experience with them? Go look around this forum and ask how many people have had good experience with EVGA for example. You'll be outnumbered damn fast. You have zero evidence other than the few motherboards of yours not working. If you had to RMA 2-3 motherboards within the last 3 months that may be 1% of the motherboards they sell. Also i don't know what you expect from your lawsuit, even if it succeeds.

I did some research. Pre-Law means "I did a course at undergrad level that had somethign to do with law". Pre-law means you have not yet been to a law school. It means you have not passed any pre-requisites for the Bar. You are not a lawyer. You should talk to one before starting this class action suit.

I did a google search for "Z87 xpower issues". This thread was the top result. Everything else was just reviews that contained the strings "Z87", "xpower" and "issues"; nothing about this particular motherboard failing in such high numbers that a class action suit would be granted.

Pretty much any motherboard will do. 2 8gb sticks will give you better performance due to dual channel memory. It will limit your upgradeabilty to 32gb though. I would expect that to be enough for most people, if you think you need 64gb (more than highly unlikely) at some point, go for one 16gb stick.

At 1440p the 980 Ti and Fury X are within spitting distance of each other depending on the game.

If you want better temps and less noise - Fury X
You want a better OC and 5% better performance - 980 Ti
    You want Free-sync? Fury X
    You want G-sync? 980 TI
You want OpenCL or Direct Compute? Fury X
    You want CUDA? 980 TI
You want Bridgeless CF? Fury X
    You want Shadowplay? 980 Ti
You want GPU Open effects? Fury X
You want GameWorks effects? 980 Ti

Not too much to be honest. The IPC was better on Phenom II, it will perform better because of the higher clocked cores though. Try to return and get an i5, the upgrade is nowhere near worth that much money

CS:GO takes time to get good at. After now 1.7k hours i would classify myself as a pretty good cs player and i can tell you, you have really bad games and really good games and something in between. In the beginning i would suggest you to do some aim training, either on offline maps or on community servers and watch a few videos about tactics. Search for some friends to play with you. Don't set the sensitivity too high, I am at 1600dpi and ingame sensitivity of 1.125. After that it's basicly just practice to get better. Mouse acceleration is not too bad to play with, it really doesn't affect much, maybe at higher ranks, you can still change the ingame sensitivity.
Just because i'm curious, where do you live?

Im quite certain that you cannot RAID 2 different drives, well you can RAID them but the 480gb SSD will be limited to 120gb of the 1st drive. You can install them seperatly, then you have one 120gb as boot drive and another 480gb

You see, linking the most cpu bound game on earth doesn't really speak for games. You could use that game as a cpu benchmark which obviously is not saying anything about the other 99% of games which are gpu bound.
Including the price, the 4690 is 48€ more on amazon.de than the 4460.
