Hi all,
I ordered a Ryzen 7 3700x to replace my Ryzen 5 1600 and it's stock Wraith Spire cooler... then I quickly realized I no longer have the two mounting brackets that go on the side of the CPU. I don't know if that was a good explanation, but they're the things that the cooler would hook on to when you install it. I have a MSi B350m Gaming Pro Motherboard.
Anyway, out of these two brackets I found, would either of them work for my motherboard and cooler?

Another question, is that large plate looking thing needed? I checked the reviews and it appears that most people already have one in their motherboard. I don't think I removed it when installing the original processor, but that was three years ago so I'm honestly not sure.
Final question: If I cannot install the Wraith Prism cooler due to not having the brackets, would the Wraith Spire cooler work fine for the 3700x?
Thanks for the help!
