  1. Sorry for being too vague (im very new to this stuff) but my friend and i have come to the conclusion that it is the power supply causing the issue. So im just wondering what would be the best power supply to support my rig then. Thanks in advance.
  2. Specs- Motherboard- asus maximus v extreme Cpu- intel i7-3770k 3.50GHz Power supply- Antec TPQ-850 850W Continuous Power ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply 32 gigs of ram My third time writing this so im just gonna get to the point. i went from a radeon hd 7900 series graphics card to a new evga 1080ti sc 2. i used ddu to uninstall my amd drivers and installed the new invidia ones and it works flawlessly. heres where the problem is, when i get into a game like smite and set the settings to 4k max, i hop into a game and the game runs perfect but after around two minutes into a game my system just shuts down and reboots (skyrim wont even let me go in game at all with 4k max neither does mgs 5). What exactly is the problem? what is the solution? is it maybe because i decided to use my old pci connections instead of the ones given? Is my power supply the one to blame? do i need to set my res down to 1440p? what exactly do i need to be able to game at a nice 4k whatever settings without my pc collapsing every minute in-game (not menus) Update- even benchmarking my pc causes it to shut down. ive tried witcher 3 4k max and to no surprise shut down my system, i decided to try it 4k on low settings and to my surprise it was working for awhile but once i alt tabbed out again my pc shut down.
