    That doesn't help. I cap my fps at 60 and still experience the sound.

    Edit: I have now swapped the PSU and GPU and i'm still having the sound occur. What should i do now? Change the mobo?

    Hi,I have been hearing this electric sound in my headphones (Audio-Technica ATH-M50X) for quite awhile. It has been easy to ignore until today. When i fired up WoW couple of hours ago i started hearing this loud coil whine like sound through my headphones and also from inside the computer. It got worse when i opened up some in-game menus.Also my second monitor started making these shadowy waves rotating from top to bottom.I opened up the side panel and it seems like the sound is coming from the GPU. (GTX 770) I tested it with a different GPU (GTX 1060) and it still made the sound but not as loudly.I cap my fps at 60 in WoW. I cap my fps at 144 in LoL and my computer doenst seem to make the noise almost at all. What should i do? Replace PSU or MOBO?Specs:GTX 770i7-3770k @ 3.516GB DDR3 @ 1600ASRock z77 Extreme6Seasonic 660w P-660 (XP²) modular ATX-Power Supply, 80 Plus Platinum, semi-passive Edit: I have now swapped the PSU and GPU and i'm still having the sound occur.
