  1. Pretty much any 2x8 3200mhz cl16 kit. I personally got the cheapest kit at microcenter to that spec. I've had it for over a year and it's served me well.
  2. how do you turn an old linux pc into a remote file server
  3. Does anyone have an old 90s computer if so what kind.

    moving

I was thinking of moving to ontario, canada. I currently reside in canton, ohio, USA. If anyone moved from the usa to canada or if you live in canada please tell me if it is a good idea to move to canada.
  5. I may sound a little bias... you should try Linux..... errors are very rare with Linux.
  6. My current monitor is a piece of junk and I want to buy a new one for under 50 USD... Any suggestions?
  7. What linux distro are you using because most are easy to get working with nvidia drivers. I use linux mint 18.2 and it works flawlessly with my nvidia gpu. one mine i just went to my driver manager and installed what it recommended.
  8. I'm just wondering but is it possible to use a usb flash drive as a main hard drive? I have a 16 gb flash drive and i'm wondering if I can use it in place of my crappy hdd until I get a new one. I know its not enough space for windows but I can install linux on it.
  9. this is partially wrong.... while you can't use photoshop you can use gimp... you can run about 95% of windows applications in wine.... linux gaming is not fantastic right now they are working on making it better and it is getting better every day.... if you are a gamer I would recommend dual booting linux and windows because windows is better for gaming, but in my opinion linux is better for everything else
