EG! got a reaction from sony7 in Which RTX 2070 card is the best? Which one should I buy?
They will all perform similar, most have the same chip inside some are just clocked a little higher or have better cooling but mostely the aesthetics differ.
So nvidia has 2 different kinds of RTX2070 the one that are alowed to get a factory overclock and those who aren't.
The Gigabyte OC is the best non overclocked price/performance and the msi gaming is equal to the strix so whichever is cheaper is better price/performance,
but if you really want price/performance get an RTX2060.

EG! got a reaction from Brennan Price in Linux No0b - should I switch? Why?
For normal use like browsing, watching video's and gaming you don't miss anything, if you are a developer the linux terminal is superior over command prompt and the best reason in my opinion is that most Linux distributions are free and Windows 10 can easily set you back €100.
Usability and that stuff is all personal preferences, I like windows file explorer.

EG! got a reaction from Sheikh F. in What product would you like to see us review that we haven't yet?
I'd like to see a review on the G-sync compatible freesync monitors and how well they fare against a real g-sync monitor and if freesync on those monitors still works better than g-sync.

Most of all the AOC G2590FX, as this is a sub €200 (179 atm) monitor with 1080p 144hz and the cheapest Gsync 144hz 1080p monitor I can find is €380.

I'm a fan of the last 2 assassin's creed games.
Shadow of War is fun too if you like hack 'n slash kind of games, but it's really grindy.
Far Cry 5 is great too and in a month there will be a new one.

Terraria is a great game if you are into it, make a server and with a couple of friends it's really great kept me busy for hours.

Rgb is akin to a honda civic with a fart can and huge spoiler. It has no tact, no elegance, and takes no skill to install. It also tends to appeal to a younger audience. It just makes your build look "cheap".

Most of the time it's just too much, rgb fans, rgb aio, then some underglow with rgb peripherals.
That looks just bad I'd rather see all white lights than disco lights.

    You have a 1080ti right?
Are you looking at any other options are those the only 2?
I used sites that list comparisons like this (dutch) for all 3440x1440, +100Hz, 1800R+, 34"+ and if you'd go for freesync at least here there are some cheaper options with the same specs but Gsync is still better than freesync, Gsync will work from 1hz all the way to the maximum, freesync has a range from 40hz+ so if it dips below that freesync won't help anymore.

just some changes I would make on base of this one:
lower wattage higher quality psu, 450 is more than enough
    ab350 to b450
    2800 mhz+ if possible
green, blue, a400, su, ssd plus, bx500, mx500, 860 evo, 850 evo, burst, ssd's like that are fine
get a good case if you want to keep it longer, the focus g is a nice one for example

I'd go for an AMD card 580, 590 doesn't matter and buy a 144hz 1080p monitor with freesync for the games you play.

The naming would be GTX not RTX as the 2070 is the cheapest card with ray tracing everyting below will be a regular GPU, so no need to go for a GTX 2050TI as you can get a GTX1060 for the same price if nvidea keeps it up with their pricing.

A small figurine that fits your case, if you have a black and white theme add a stormtrooper or some other nerd stuff to show how nerdy you are
I don't think that you'll be looking at your case after a while and just press the power button and be done with it.

That's your opinion, you're entitled to it.

I'll give you a life lesson, take it or leave it. If you see something you don't like or agree with ignore it. Nobody forced you to watch Elon Musks Twitter, read it's contents or respond to it. You did that all on your own.

Sorry had to do it, it's people like you and me that made his Twitter valued as a valid news source which it's not look at Trumps tweets, earlier today I saw a news article about Trump having toiletpaper on his shoe, they are just people he has the right to be offended and the right to post whatever he thinks, that is what I think American freedom of speech is about. Btw $20M dollar isn't a large fine for Musk.

EG! got a reaction from Exotath in TechSource files manual copyright claim against video that alleges the robbery was staged, threatens legal action against "human garbage" creator
But he had "racks" of GPU's and CPU's, Motherboards and cases all boxed.
The video showed that those racks were all empty imagine that this is one or 2 of linus' racks that would not fit in a small van like the one in the video and that in 30mins.
So either it wasn't all there or he sold alot of his review hardware already (which has been claimed before).
Everyone deserves to be innocent until proven guilty even if it's probably otherwise.

Barely a difference between them, 3 fan cards might be slightly cooler than 2 fan cards but it's mostly aesthetics and how much noice they make.

In the manual of your motherboard will be info on where to put ramsticks but for dual channel normally it's 1 stick in the second slot and 1 in the fourth slot as those slots are configured for dual channel and the other ones as single channel, but watch the manual for that.

EG! got a reaction from Tarun10 in Laptop for Programming
Don't buy a macbook, Microsoft won't let you use Visual Studio on OSX and running windows on a mac is not such a nice experience.
Visual Studio's requirements are 4gb ram, 1.8ghz dual core+ and preferably an ssd.
So I had an 8gb 1.8ghz dual core and a hdd and it sucked running VS 2015 and later 2017
so I would advice 16gb ram for running VMs (8gb will be the minimum) and it would be best to have an ssd of 128gb or more (alot of read writes), cpu 1.8ghz dual or more (won't be the bottleneck but compiling goes faster with a better cpu)
Webdesign can be done on any laptop, sql server isn't really taxing either.
The cheapest laptops with these requirements might be gaming laptops but those don't have great battery duration.
As @SupaKomputa said a Lenovo Thinkpad could do the job.
