Having better throughput per device would be a big plus.

It's not like your switch has any shortage of ports, either.

For all intensive purposes, few that I can think of. Only thing that comes to mind is if you wanted to configure LA between the router and a compatible device. Even then the same operation could be done through the switch.

Just plug them all into the switch. The only reason I plug anything else into the router is if they need their own IP subnet with DHCP and I don't want to play with VLANs (i.e. testing/dev).

I'm glad I could help. Whether to use DHCP or static IP on the switch is up to you, as long as if you use DHCP you create a lease in your router so it is effectively static.

A single RTX 2080 Ti can run most titles at 4K 60fps, some still need to be tweaked though. If the games you wanna play support NVLink/SLI then a pair should let you do surround and maybe get it playable (I think they did triple 4K with 4x SLI Titans back when Nvidia supported more than 2 cards in SLI, but most games had pretty low fps counts). As for CPU, if you want the best gaming CPU out right now, get the 9900K.

Something like this should be about the best you can get:

Great Mobo, 64GB RAM because I assume with an eye watering amount of monitors you're gonna be doing a lot of multitasking just to fill them up, an 970 Evo cause why not, it's the best SSD out there, and a 2TB 860 Evo because you have the budget for it so why not just go all SSD? EVGA's cards are stellar and the thicc Ultra cards should perform very well (keep in mind you'll need to pick up a properly spaced NVLink bridge to run them in NVLink/SLI). Fractal Design R6 because good airflow while still looking great, and has the room to run a dope water-cooling loop if you ever decide to do that. For now a good 360mm AIO because it should cool better than any air coolers I know of (they generally beat 280mm AIOs, don't think they match 360s though). And PSU the overkill wattage HXi because it was cheaper than the 1000W version and you can be a nerd and watch the power consumption of all your hardware with Corsair's software since it's a, I guess "smart" PSU.

please post either the model number, or the J#### number, so that we can be sure of exactly what switch you have. However, here are instructions that are true for most Procurve switches from the last decade:
Using pointed objects, simultaneously press both the Reset and Clear buttons on the front of the switch. Continue to press the Clear button while releasing the Reset button. When the Self Test LED begins to blink, release the Clear button. "Reset" on most Procurve switch means reboot. If Clear is held while it boots up, then it will clear the configuration and start from factory defaults. It is also possible to just hold Clear while applying power to achieve the same purpose.

A 12 year old, proprietary power supply needs to be chucked, sorry. Saving money should be secondary to ensuring your components don't get busted. Spend $40 or more on a decent PSU, it's worth saving for.

Such a great buy, have fun with it! I actually called Newegg to cancel my ASUS ROG because I couldn't justify the $100 dollar increase for the sake of brand name.

That's what I was saying; if you don't purpose-build the computer for Mac, it can get rather interesting finding supported 3rd party drivers and workarounds for the hackintosh.

Oh, I misread your question then. I'm pretty sure either way is possible since you can configure PCIe lanes in bios.

Your GPU will still run on 16 CPU lanes and the 970 EVO will run on chipset lanes.

Even if your gpu uses 8 lanes, but that's fine and it won't impact gaming performance https://www.gamersnexus.net/guides/2488-pci-e-3-x8-vs-x16-performance-impact-on-gpus

To my knowledge you can't ban someone based on harddrive or cpu or motherboard. You are most likely either username or ip banned or both. Besides you cheated so you deserve the ban you have received.

Simply put your main drive is full just like it says. The capacity of the other drives doesn't matter as they aren't used by the system by default.

It's the Windows 10 app. I didn't think there was an alternative since when I tried to download the desktop version it refused to install and directed me to the store.

It should, the clip on the stand appears to be compatible with the body of the XM8500, but be warned that you get what you pay for. If it's ever in your budget I highly recommend getting the Rode PSA1.

The one you listed will be decent with your mic as it's a smaller and lighter microphone. My main complaint with a similar inexpensive arm was that it would sag under the weight of my blue yeti which is a very heavy mic. This said, the arm you posted should be fine as a starter arm especially considering it matches the cost of the XM8500.
