Apple's advertising scheme for there latest iPad pro surprised me when I first saw it. Then I realized how typical of apple this is. PC industry is booming and so is Apple but why must Apple lie? Their under powered potato computers have Apple OS and that's what keeps them selling (and sheep mentality of apple consumers). For creators, the last viable Apple computer was the Apple Mac Pro from 2010-2012. That was one of the few relatively recent Apple computers that had a PC like design-you could swap out components such as RAM, GPU (if it had apple drivers), and CPU (if it was the right socket). Now, with the 2017 iMac, it takes 4 hours to swap out RAM or 600$ to upgrade to 32GB when you go to Apple-the RAM only cost $200. (link to video where 2017 iMac RAM is replaced at bottom with new apple ad). That's why we desperately need PCs: modular freedom that apple doesn't provide.
