As said, only thing you are getting better is noise. And looks if you into those. If you go for cooler, think what your CPU is going to be going forward. Will you be OCing, will it be gaming or will it just be same kind of lower tier CPU.

From a Thermal Standpoint it sounds like you don't need to upgrade, however from a Noise Standpoint you might want to, find a different cooler that has the same cooling rating with less noise.

the most basic switch with enough pots will do
the switch itself doesn't require configuration, the PCs do
the PCs need to be on the ip class and same workgroup
example:
PC1 - IP 192.168.0.1 subnet mask 255.255.255.0
PC2 - IP 192.168.0.2 subnet 255.255.255.0
and so on

If you can figure out how HDMI would be best because you can adjust the volume from the TV.
If you can't figure out the HDMI go on eBay and look up "optical DAC" unfortunately you won't be able to adjust the volume from the TV since it's digital. But you'll have to adjust the volume from the sound system.

You call them issues. I call them irrelevant.
This is coming from someone who has a 290X running at 65% fan speed beside him all day.
The noise doesn't bother me and the heat is good for the winter. Honestly, it won't have heat issues if you turn the fan up. And headphones basically make the noise pointless.

Yes the second number is the result of the summation (which can be easily done with a pc). I did it in double precision (around 16 precise decimal digits), so it should be the exact number.
