    Update: I have decided to buy the 1600 with a B350 PC Mate from MSI, 8Gb of 3200mhz RAM, and stick with my 1050 ti for now (and may sell it later). Thanks for your help with my decision on what to buy.

    The ssd and 1tb storage drive are fine. I’m reusing the case I have.

    The old system is somewhat malfunctioning, so the only things I could sell from it would be the 1050 ti and the 16 GB of DDR3 2400 RAM. I live in the U.S.

    My budget is about $500 (for upgrading), but I don’t know if I should sell my 1050 ti, as I’ll only get about $120 out of it, since it retails for $180 currently.

    So I’ve had a crappy PC for the past few years, with an AMD A10-5800k and 16 GB of DDR3 RAM, with an SSD and a 1050 ti. It finally died a few days ago. The drives and the GPU still work, and I wanted to upgrade to a Ryzen 5 1600 and 8 GB of DDR4 3000mhz RAM. I’ll use this rig for gaming and messing around in Unreal Engine 4. Will this be a bottleneck? Is this a good build?
