Haha true. I thought of this at first, but was not 100% sure of what the "newest stock's" packaging would look like, so I came on here to get some confirmation. I have contacted the supplier of this cooler, but havent gotten a reply ?. They did advertise this as am4 compatible so Im a bit upset about the lack of clarity I guess.

Yea, it seems that because they have listed this cooler as one that officially supports am4, they dont make those upgrade brackets for it.

Hi all! Recently I've purchased a ryzen 5 1600X and a B350 motherboard. I'm not looking to overclock, so I have gotten the Hyper TX3 EVO to go along with it. According to cooler master's website, the TX3 EVO does support AM4 motherboards, but I have also read that some older stocks of that cooler do not have the necessary retention hardware for it. Since I have bought the cooler in advance (the 1600X and B350 are coming in about a week), I was wondering if the one I received is compatible and therefore if I should return it. I have attached a couple of photos for reference.
