Not to be rude here, but maybe reconsider that name.

Nobody likes fanboyism, neither on the Blue or Red side.

I suddenly feel like I'm talking about Team Fortress 2, GG.

(This comes from a person that uses Intel CPU's for he's daily use and uses both NVIDIA/AMD Radeon)

Fanboyism is by it's very nature, anti consumer.

While it's perfectly fine to have preferences, it is in everyone's best interest if both sides do well.

After all, competition is good for the consumer.

That is exactly what I mean.

If one offers the better option, go for it.

Reasons for fanboyism are most likely things like :

    "Oh they are better"

    "Well they are not toasters"

"At least it has more cores"

    "It is clocked higher!"

Some of these are from Blue others from Red fanboys.

In the end you have to use it, some people benefit from higher core counts; others need that extra MHz.

Fanboys think about what they need, and start recommending what they would get.

Anti-Consumer and the best part a company/brand doesn't even have to make its hands dirty, we do it for them.

Isn't that smart of us! (Sarcasm)

    EDIT

Something being better is also partially opinion.

Gamers still go for the clock speed.

But add streaming into the mix, now more cores at the expense of some speed seems like a good deal.

Gaming and streaming vs gaming is pretty much the same, but you cannot treat one as if they are the other.

I stream, and really notice my 4790K isn't really up to the task. 2 more cores would be ideal.

But when just gaming, that 4790K kicks a*s!

Then there is power draw, look I can go on forever how situations differ.

Just keep that in mind, consider this a very local PSA.

@Sfekke While I understand the point of paid shills, I have never understood paying for the privilege of being a shill.

The best product would ultimately depend on what you are doing, and your budget.

@amdhater Nether I or @Sfekke mean any disrespect.  It's just that your username gives off a bad first impression.
