  1. But even if it is from two different systems on the psu?
  2. Yeah but my questions in my thread are still unanswered
  3. Hi all, I was wondering to give a go on a Phanteks revolt X 1200w since all seasonic 1000w+ PSU:s in tne Noric region is not available. The revolt x and pro series seems to be rebranded seasonic psu so why not give it a go. My question is that the revolt x is made for running two systems on one psu and i will just run 1x system and the layout for the cables on the back might not be sufficient if i dont merge cables from system1 and system2 and is wondering if this will work and/or degrade performance? My system will need 1x 8pin EPS 1x 4pin EPS 3x 8pin PCIE 1x 24pin ATX Anybody who knows?
  4. Yeah well that i'm aware, but i was more asking if it was even possible to set it up this way. I.e 1x4 1x4 1x16 without running into any issues. Hope someone else here have some more insight on the matter.
  5. Hi All, I've got an Asus Maximus XII Hero combined with a 10900K and got a bit confused regarding how to setup 2x NVME drives to run at X4 mode each. The confusion started when i tried to understand Asus manual, see below: So basically the setup is that I today is running a single 1TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus in the M.2_2 socket, but now I want to expand my storage with another 1TB WD SN750 Black So what's my issue? I want my top PCI-E Slot for my graphics card to still run at x16 speed. Each respective NVME-Drive to run at X4 speed. I was thinking that i could just insert it into M.2_1 and call it a day - but since the above picture from the Manual i'm not so sure anymore . Anyone knows if that would still make my PCI-e (1st slot) run X16 for the Graphics card and run my each respective NVME-Drive at X4 - or is there any limitations? I'm not runing any sata-drives at all, so if some sata-ports will be disabled, that's fine. Hope some of you wise people out there can give me some hints and/or answers!
  6. Hi guys, Im always having a bad time trying to drain my loop (no drain valve). But im thinking about getting one but i need your advice on what placement it should have. Attached is my loop. Thanks for help! :)
  7. Hi All, Been googling without any luck. Is there anywhere where i can find PCB-Sizes for different RTX 2080 Ti:s? Not just the reference but also the AIB:s like Zotac,MSI,Asus,KFA etc. The manufactures themself only give diemensions with the cooler (and those is mostly longer than the PCB itself) Im going to swap to a RTX 2080 Ti to my rig where an MSI Geforce GTX 1080 Gaming X sits today (with phanteks waterblock) and i have like 2 mm to spare so i need the exact measurements so that i can squeeze it in my case (before the card hitting the pump/res-combo). Happy to take any advice!
  8. Hi all, I was wondering if there is anyway to get a custom front panel for the NZXT h700i - I am struggling with thermals because of the front panel and i want to have a meshed front for my 3x120mm fans in front (the are on the outerside) because of a 60mm radiator which is running in push/pull so i cant move the fans Without the front panel on i drop around 10 - 15 degrees C on my CPU so it cleary would make difference having a front mesh. I have no tools and im not handy so im reaching out to you guys to see if there is anybody out there that does mods like these or sell complete kits (like modmymods that does this for Phanteks Evolv X)
  9. Had to find this thread because i was worried Riley was gone. He's my favourite @RKRiley
  10. Do you mean the setting for the raid configuration or "all other" the settings? I might just make a clone of the C: Drive then to another mechnical HDD so if it fails i can boot from that drive and then clone it back to the raid-array maybe?
  11. Hi Everybody, This might be a stupid question but i'm not sure, so i'm here to ask the you who might have an answer to my question. I'm currently running a ASUS Maximus X hero with an 8700K with alot of bios settings (which i saved manually in text form ) One of the settings i am running is the software raid with the motherboard (configured in bios) for two M.2 Samsung 960 EVO NVME drives. This drive (in raid0) is running my OS. So to the point, i want to update the BIOS to a later one than the one i'm using now. Can i somehow re-use my raid configuration? (because i believe everything will be restored to default when flashing to the new bios) The question is asked because i do not want to reinstall windows and reconfigure all software again (i tweak alot of setting for optimization both drivers and utilites) Hope someone have an answer for this and maybe a workaround if you cannot re-use the raid-configuration! Thanks in Advance! Cheers!
  12. Thank you so much for a great answer. That explains alot!
  13. Nope, CS:GO, Quake Champions, Dota 2. 3/3 games ive tested came out with the same result. I'm just curious how so many people on so many forums claim that there is no or slight performance drop by using it. Are you aware of how G-SYNC works or are you just here to belittle my problem? If it's the latter, im asking you friendly, please leave this thread.
  14. To the question that i'm having 480 fps; It's not a problem but there will be newer games which will eat more performance and i do not like the fact that i'm losing half my GPU's performance for running G-Sync? Other question: Same res (running games at 1080p) - Prior monitor was an AOC 24" 144hz. But refresh rates does not eat up frames, because if i turn G-SYNC off and run for exampled fixed refresh rate (165hz) or ULMB my FPS is just like with my old monitor. Running at the 800 ish fps at that scene in CS:GO or that 500 FPS in quake champions My problem is that if you google G-SYNC everywhere they say that G-SYNC is degrading performance by less than 1 percent. So i'm wondering if i might have something wrongfully set up?
