  1. I was having a look at that after watching some Youtube videos, definitely elegant. Thanks!
  2. Don't have water cooling but if I get this I'll probably get water cooling too. Seems promising, do you have water cooling?
  3. That looks really nice, although not a big fan of RGB but I assume it can be disabled? Really considering this, thanks for the suggestion.
  4. I'm moving to a new apartment next month and I'm looking to get a new ATX case for my PC. This time I am looking to get something white and more elegant than my current Corsair 400C Clear. Can you guys recommend me any cool and elegant cases that fall into more of a "designer" aesthetic Something like the HYTE Y60. I would really want to see what kind of cases you have.
  5. The motherboard supports DDR3 Only, so it would be best to upgrade the whole motherboard. I'm pretty certain he has a prebuilt, so that'll be a little hard. Not sure if he ever changed the CPU, I'm not faimiliar with the Z mobos so I don't really know about the whole K situation. I don't think he will change the cpu. What problems is there with that? I have now suggested him to get more ram, 2x4gb DDR3.
  6. My friend is looking for a GPU upgrade to play the new Modern Warfare. His current setup is CPU - i7 3770 Motherboard - ASRock Z77 Extreme4 8GB RAM DDR3 GPU - GTX 750 Ti His budget is 300€ and I was suggesting him the 1660 Ti/S Would you go with this? Would there be any issues with the current motherboard? Do you think there will be significant bottleneck? Is it worth to get more ram for him? I told him that 8gb should be enough for any game.
  7. Great reply, I guess the difference is minimal. I personally trust userbenchmark to an extent, but take them with a grain of salt. I'd still say that you should get the Ti if you don't see a difference in price.
  8. You sure? I'm planning to purchase and there's no significant price gap in the prices at my closest retailer. User benchmarks say that the Ti is greater value, take a look: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1660-Ti-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1660S-Super/4037vs4056
  9. I'll test it now, and I barely used 100% fans speed as I've heard they damage your fans. That's impressive! What's the cost on that?
  10. I have a custom fan curve, I'll try yours. You can check previous answers and posts for more information about mine.
  11. If I try to set temp limit it just puts power limit down instead. My card doesn't support it.
  12. It has 2 fans. https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/R9-390-GAMING-8G.html It blows hot air out from the heatsink. Case fans turn on at 65*c
  13. Yes, it's always been hawt. Not sure what you mean by an open cooler, I have no specific cooler for the card. Just case fans + gpu fans.
  14. Here's my thread, I tried everything to fix it without any solution. It's just very common with the r9 series and my card is old. If you have any solution for me to fix this, post to that thread. I highly appreciate any help.
  15. I have a 120hz and a 60hz monitor. I've been looking into 1070 myself, not sure if there are any good alternatives. I'm not aiming to game in 144hz Just need a better gpu that can run my current games with a little better fps and without overheating.
