Seems fine to me. In my case I've had 3 jobs and spent my PC money on what I wanted, I saved longer instead of lowering a budget. One thing to always be safe of is to make sure you have money to fall back on. IMO I'd rather spend my money on a PC that will last years and be used often than spend money on a car that comes along with insurance, car payments, and gas when I can just as easily get a ride or borrow a parent's car.

I can't imagine it stealing very many customers from companies like turtle beach or astro though, it seems like people that know who Audio Technica is generally care more about quality.

Can anyone tell me why someone would rather spend $250 on a rebranded a/d-700 headphone with a boom mic when you can get the original or even a/d-700x for over $100 less and get a better quality mic? Maybe I'm just overthinking it, but do people really spend an extra $125 for the same product just because it has the word "gaming" thrown on it? Can someone help me justify the price?

lol I just said it because it's from the regular show. What I meant is, people who spend their lives hating on popular celebrities (haters), will never understand that they will live a much happier life avoiding the drama and instead supporting people they do like. Its a complete waste of time and sanity hating on somebody you know nothing about because of what you see in the news. I guarantee anyone who was famous and getting pelted by millions of people for absolutely garbage reasons would not support it. I understand Kanye is full of himself, that's hardly a crime at all. Everyone gets proud of themselves, and he has a massive dedicated audience that will say his music brings them happiness and entertainment. To say that you can't be proud of what you do is asinine, and I guarantee the same people would grow a bigger ego if they had his success. So to me, "haters gonna hate" is a trivial way of blowing off people who will never understand that all they're doing is wasting their time. I'm sure the term varies from person to person so I can't tell you how other people mean it. I said I wasn't defending Kanye's actions, and I'm still not. From an objective standpoint, I wouldn't support this no matter who the parody was. It's pathetic to treat other humans like that, regardless if they did something bad or not. I just don't understand how people can support mocking someone they don't know or hating them over 1 thing. Imagine if it was one of their family members on the coin? The fact that Kanye has bodyguards proves he needs them. The community manager of Treyarch had to get them over thousands of death threats because he made quickscoping take 0.1 second longer. Threatening someones life isn't a joke, and there are crazy people who would follow through with it. Have one of these guys trade places with Kanye and all of the years he's been told he's a God by media, all of the success and money, and I guarantee they'll have egos. If it isn't Kanye, it's going to be one of the other 5 million generic celebrities. TL;DR "haters gonna hate" is my joking way of saying "dude you're wasting your time, move on."

Different people have different ideas of what success is, and the fact that you would be making a coin as a parody to his ego proves that he has reason to have an ego and be proud of himself in the first place. Oh well, haters gonna hate.

Obviously. If you put yourself out there you're going to get both. If you're justifying attacking people just because they're famous though, then i disagree. If you attack someone you know nothing about just because they're famous, then he probably laughs at you while counting his millions of dollars.

No, I don't have a problem if they were fans or something, I just find it annoying when people try to use someone else's fame to draw attention to themselves or their product when they don't even like the person they're using. It also bothers me when people try to attack someone they don't even know just because of media, but either way I'm not defending him and this doesn't affect me either way. It's just like "why bother."

IMO a decent pair of audiophile headphones are going to make you happier than a pair of "gamer" headphones. 7.1 surround doesn't really do much for headphones, it seems like more of a gimmicky thing, and stereo will do you just as good at hearing directions while giving better quality.

I'd say if you want to keep the 120fps and you don't mind tn, get that. It's honestly a personal preference and you wont really know without seeing an IPS in person so there's much less risk getting the 120/144hz panel since you already know you'll like it.

You didn't have any problems with jitter or acceleration did you? Would both work normally on an aluminum mouse mat?

Roccat announced an optical version of the kone xtd mouse recently at CES. My question is this; which version will be the better one to get, laser or optical, and why? Is it more of a personal preference thing? Also, if you've used any roccat products before can you tell me if they are good quality or not?
