  1. Ok I understand.. ye, it can be coming from MOBO (from some coil near the ssd). BUT is it a sign that something is wrong or?
  2. Hello, is it even possible that some modern ssd can do this type of noise? I think I can say, that I am 100% sure that the sound is coming from my SSD. I was listening really close to every part in my PC. I know that it is really hard to point exact place.. but it happens only why my SSD is connect into my motherboard. I googled a bit and found that there are FEW people having exactly same problem. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KS-BHI667po = This is the sound! This is exactly the same sound I am hearing.. while my PC is silently running in Windows 10. While I boot into the BIOS, there is no issue. It starts only when I start downloading or do small tasks. I run S.M.A.R.T. test and also performance test of the drive. And everything is how it should be! So I can say, that the SSD is totally fine. The noise is not THAT LOUD like in the video, but when my room is totally silent and nobody is there (except me) and I am trying to REALLY focus on it - it's audibly. OR - it can be this https://www.dell.com/support/article/cz/cs/czbsd1/sln80281/the-solid-state-drive-ssd-on-my-laptop-makes-a-strange-squeal-buzzing-noise?lang=en For the refference, motherboard is z370 Gigabyte Gaming 7 paired with i7 8700k (stock speed at the moment) So I guess.. that's how it is. OR shoud be worried? Thank you very much and I will be happy to see your knowledge.
  3. @Faisal A Thank you for your answer. Well I was trying to play Red Dead Redemption 2 for an hour from the disk and temps were at around 61-64
  4. Hello,Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2TBI don’t know guys but I am really worried about the drive. Browsing forums..and I can see almost everyone is hitting approx. 35 °C. I am at around 49-51 °C. I also bought heatsink on it and it did zero change. Temps were totally the same. While running benchmark via Samsung Magician (its like 1-2 minutes benchmark) temps went up to 70 °C.I have it places between my cpu (8700k) and gpu (1080ti). Mobo is z370 Gigabyte Gaming 7. Should I place the drive at the bottom of my motherboard to the latest M.2 slot? (I would try it..but it means to unmount cpu cooler Noctua nh-d15 again).I don’t know what to do to be honest. It’s my main drive and I think that something is not right.CPU temps are at around 32 °C and GPU at 40 °C while doing nothing - idle.Should I be worried? Is there anything I can do about the temps?
  5. I will try right after I switch my GPU today for an older one - to see If it's the same. Really thank you for your informations and trying to help me. I will give you feedback ASAP. Btw I've just found something after days of testing.. When I was testing a lot of games (my stuttering problem).. I started experiencing some random disconnects from WoW and packet losts + connection problems in Overwatch (icons on the left side). After talking with my NIC provider + blizzard support.. they told me that everything is 100% OK with them and there must be something on my side. But here is the part.. when I pull out the GTX 1080ti .. and running only on my iGPU, everything is OK and I don't have any disconnects + connections problems in Overwatch (tested for like 3 days). After I connected the GPU back = problem is here again. Random disconnects, connection losts etc.. But this was happening on ASUS Maximus X HERO mobo too - so mobo should be really fine. I don't get it.. is that even possible? Should I really RMA the gpu - it really looks like something is fu*ked up around my gpu/psu? BTW - my INTEL NIC drivers are up to date.. and I was having the problem with other Nvidia drivers too. Only solution is to pull out the GPU.
  6. Thanks for your suggestion. First of all, I am sorry for the screenshot in CZE language - https://imgur.com/PTQmK0O. But it says that I got it managed automaticaly and there is no pagefile on D: (my HDD drive). But there is no difference between SSD and HDD - because my game is already installed on my SSD. So maybe should I try to install everyhting on my HDD and disconnect my completely my SSD? Because that's one of the few things that I did not try yet. (btw.. HD Tune + SeaTools tests says that both drives are OK) So any idea mate?:/
  7. Hello guys,This is my setup - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yqmf6X (nothing is OC'ed /only factory/ .. everything is on stock)i7 8700k (no OC)GTX 1080ti OC edition (factory OC only)16gb (2x8gb) RAM DDR4 3200MHzSSD + HDD Userbenchmark OK - http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/7016923 Here is my problem: In almost every game I am having lag spikes/stuttering https://imgur.com/a/JrNll + https://imgur.com/a/PHnwX like this (Assassin's Creed: Origin - benchmark). Games where I can see the problem the most: Assassin's Creed: Origin, Battlefield 1, PUBG, Witcher 3 running in the city (there is a microstutter when you enter new area in the city). Sometimes it runs OK for few minutes. Sometimes it runs OK for 1 hour BUT it looks like when I let my PC running for like 6 hours (playing or idling - does not matter) stuttering problem is worse. But I experienced it right after cold boot too.My overall performance is great. I checked 3D Mark/Cinebench 15/FPS in games regarding youtube videos with people with the similar setup.. everyhting is how it should be. EXCEPT the stutters :/.I noticed that sometimes it disappears when I alt-tab like during this test: https://imgur.com/a/bH4nV Superposition Benchmark + AC:O Benchmark = https://imgur.com/2rT0Pck (frametime) /// but another AC:O Benchmark right away was super smooth = https://imgur.com/EEopEh8 ... so I don't get it anymore. Here are also some videos of the problem:BF 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHxeKw_9PdAAC:O: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqDYgDQboKgI've already done:- tried another mobo (Asus Maximus X hero- another RAMs (also XMP on/off)- win10 1607- win10 latest build with only drivers + games (without sound drivers and onboard audio disabled, windows defender disabled, no antivirus programm)- another cpu i7 8700k- gaming mods off in Windows- hdtune, latency mon (0,3-0,4ms pointing on nvidia drivers during my tests, spikes to 0,7ms probably only when alt-tabbing)- drivers are up to date, so the bios- only SSD plugged in- power management option set to performance (windows + nvidia)- last 5 versions of nvidia drivers (including the latest one 390.77)- temps are OK (https://imgur.com/a/WUGw1 - after 1 hour of BF 1)- tried another non-Gsync 1080p 60hz monitor- vsync off, gsync off/on, I've tried almost every possible setting in nvidia control panelLooks like the problem is not there with iGPU - but it's so hard to test it with such a low fps. I have no opportunity to try the card in another pc or borrow another one.So at this point.. I don't know what to do next to be honest. For example I've noticed in Witcher 3 installed on SSD this kind of microstutters: Everytime when I pass ''some line/script/new aera'' in the game or a moment before someone start talking. Everything looks great when I am not moving in the game.. when I start to move and cross ''the script line'' or enter the city etc.. lag occurs again. During the lag spike my gpu power% in MSI After Burner drops a bit down - https://imgur.com/EcvPenW But all of this does not happen all the time.. it seems so random.Do you think that my GPU can be fault from the beginning? Should I RMA it?
  8. PC Specs: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yqmf6Xi7 8700k / GTX 1080 Ti / 16 GB ram / HDD + SSDVideo:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHxeKw_9PdATemps after 1 hour of playing BF 1:https://imgur.com/a/WUGw1When I start some games I am having some lag spikes (single player games like AC Origins too).. it looks like it's getting better when I play a bit longer. BUT yesterday I turned on the PC after whole day at work .. and tried BF 1 right after cold start and it was without ANY!!!! spikes. But after playing 2 games of PUBG I went back to BF 1 and spikes were back again. There is no FPS drop - It feels like some kind of stuttering (0,1 sec freez).I have 0 programs running (chrome etc.. everyting is closed). No OC.. everything is stock.I spent so much money on this .. and feel really desperate because I don't know what to do to enjoy gaming again :X.So what I've already done before posting this:1) updated bios2) clean Win 10 home reinstall3) new nvidia drivers 390.65 via DDU4) HDTune shows zero errors in status5) CPU and GPU Temps are OK (regarding the screenshot above)6) moving games (AC: Origins, Hellblade, BF 1) on SSD did not help = totally same performance in game as on HDD7) games like CS:GO, Overwatch running great (both on HDD at the moment)8) things that are running during my tests are ESET Smart Security Premium, (sometimes Discord, Steam/Origin/Uplay)9) power management in Win10 switched to - high performance (there I turned off ''sleep HDD'' in 0 minutes)If there is anyone who can help me with the issue .. it would be great. I already don't know what to do to be honest.Thank you very much guys.
  9. I am sorry..the sound came back again. BUT I am 100% sure what’s the problem now. My back panel resoning at around 900-1000rpm when the fan is on. I can even feel it on my hand. As I already wrote before - I tried the same (new one) fan - but did not help. So fans are OK. Do you have any idea?:/
  10. You were right. With unplugged hdd the humming sound is gone ! So now I have to figure out..how to keep the hdd and get rid of the sound
  11. So should I try to only unplug the hdd? Or take out whole hdd holding case?
  12. Yes, I do. You can see the position of the hdd on the picture in my post. Bottom right is my SSD .. and above is 1 ''slot'' clear and above is my Seaget 2TB HDD.
  13. Actually I tried to disconnect the FAN again.. and the noise came back after 10-15 minutes again :X. I also tried to move the fan a bit lower/higher - did not help too. I don't know what to do to be honest.. I still can not track where from the sound is coming.
  14. I totally understand what you mean.. but as I wrote.. different fan (the same type) did not help. I already bought once to replace it.
