I got a gold watch for my 21st birthday, 10 years later its still on my wrist. I think its one of the few situations where its good to go overboard because you can enjoy the watch for many many years to come and maybe even leave it to someone special in your will. 

i am 17 my mom is 52

so my mother absolutely hates it when i play games whether its on the pc or xbox. every time i play them she either makes me stop and gives me a whole lecture on how i should be doing better things with my life or just limits my time playing. to be fair i only play on average 1-2 hours ish a day. how can i explain to her that they are actually fun and aren't pointless?

I think your imports are messed up. You got a new PSU so you took apart your computer and moved it away from the monitors I assume? Unplugging them and plugging them back into probably not the same slots? Try shuffling the output slots.... I know a single 700 series card requires an active adapter to change Display port to Dvi, but I don't know if you need that in an sli setup....

I feel your pain It pissed me off a lot when I found out the BLACK edition was in black and red too. 

For ASUS ROG, it makes sense. But for other companies, its kinda pathetic. 
I prefer Black and other colors, but I personally have a red themed build which is annoying with a reference cooler 780

is this going to be a storage drive? than boot into windows and go to create and format disk partitions in administrative tools. locate the drive and format it it should assign it a letter thus becoming usable in windows

go to bios and make sure the windows drive is first in the boot order

Disadvantages are that your loop is harder to take apart and is more of a pain in the butt to do so. Higher chance of leaks, although not significant if you do it right.
